Beautiful, Shiny Hair!
I love this conditioner for my colored hair. My stylist keeps my hair a beautiful, natural red color. This conditioner keeps my color from fading without altering or cheapening my stylist’s formula. I have long hair which means the ends could show damage having been colored for so many years if not well maintained. I, however, received so many compliments from complete strangers on the color and texture of my hair. As I use both the shampoo and conditioner as part of my regular routine, maintaining the color and luster of my hair is ridiculously easy! This conditioner makes my hair soft, shiny, and strong without making my hair feel waxy or weighed down. The fragrance is clean and pleasant without being overpowering. This also helps me save money at the salon, as my color doesn’t fade, so the ends of my hair don’t have to be processed as often as the roots. Even after 7 days on a dive boat, in and out of the salt water several times a day, my color didn’t fade! I’ve use this shampoo and conditioner for many years now, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Great value for the incredible hair color and texture it helps maintain!

Not messy at all! Only issue is unnatural pink tone, but overall, I like using this to tone
My mother has naturally bright red/orange Irish hair and my father has black hair, so as a child, I had dark auburn hair. Around 19, my hair got darker and is now very dark brown almost black, but with strands of bright red and some strawberry red that look grey. I decided to try a split-dye style and I’ve been trying to get the lightened half back to normal. My parents are in their mid-70s and are only now showing grey at all. My mother’s hair is still vibrant and she just uses henna powder on her roots. I’m 33, so I have some grey coming in and want to darken any white/grey/strawberry blonde since it looks so stark in comparison to my dark hair. In case you’re just scanning my review, I’ll mention that “Vibrant Red” is misleading. If your hair is a true fiery, coppery, natural vibrant red, the color that this conditioner deposits IS NOT any of those colors. If you’re trying to cover white/ grey, this MAY be better than nothing, but beware that the color it deposits after one use is a mahogany, pinkish dark red. However, if you’re toning out green or blue hair, this is definitely worth a try to tone your hair towards neutral. After over-dying and lightening my hair as a teenager, I am not completely allergic to boxed hair dye as well as professional hair dye. After lightening my hair the last time, I’ve used the following products to phase the split-dye out. The photo shows the split dye after it was lightened and toned to be a greyish lavender). My most recent addition is this product, which I use with a couple other products to achieve my natural hair color.About a year ago, I had my hair done by a colorist using Redken orange and reds, so when I lightened my hair for the split-dye, the result was blonde with pink tones that I could not get out. Any and all toner I tried to make the blonde more cool made it more purple. The only other product I’d used aside from the following is Arctic Fox “Transylvania,” which I use occasionally to get rid of whites ad greys, but it turns white hair light blue.Anyway, since the photo, I use “Keracolor Clenditioner” in Onyx and leave it on for at least an hour every couple of weeks (I’ll be reviewing that next, here, on Amazon). It has a green undertone, so the pinkish mahogany gives my hair similar highlights to the auburn highlights I have naturally.Other pros are the price, the fact that you don’t need to use gloves, doesn’t stain anything, and covers grey/ white hair even if you only use it for a few minutes. If you’re debating over a mask or gloss, or a product like overtone, don’t waste your money (they don’t cover white or grey at all) and give this a try.

NOT REALLY A CONDITIONER, BUT GOOD FOR COLOR…
I agree with the reviewer who said this is drying. Maybe it was because I left it on my hair for closer to 30 minutes rather than ten. My dyed red hair was loosing its color and beginning to look blond (gasp!) After one use, my hair did seem slightly darker and slightly redder, which is really all I needed, but my hair in no way felt conditioned. The product was slippery enough to distribute through my ends and mid-sections where I wanted it, but felt almost like straw after rinsing. The product must have gotten into my hair, because the rinse water didn’t look all that red. I was worried that applying a conditioner afterwards would remove the color, so I opted for a leave-in hydrating spray and leave in conditioner on all but my roots. My hair looked great after air drying. Just what it needed. I’ll see how it performs over time, but this seems like a good way to save time and money (and maybe extra damage) versus going to a salon to have the lengths of my hair toned red. Good luck in your hair adventures! LATER: Yes, I was leaving it on for too long. 10 minutes is fine.

pink
If you have whites… they will turn pink. Don’t leave it in too long.

Washes off
I wanted to love this but it doesnât help keep my red hair vibrant. I usually use Keracolor Clenditioner but seen the good reviews of this and tried it. I want to say if youâre going to add pigment then it must hold. I want to see it stain my hand, if left on it. Itâs a pretty color coming out the tube as it is going down the drain. It didnât keep nor add any color to my hair. It also let my hair feeling greasy after using it. The only positive I have for it is it smells amazing.
