This fragrance became popular in the ’70s, being advertized in Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, and other magazines for women. The neon yellow bottle is a mod design, so I was happy to find that it was still around, in the same big bottle!You apply this after a shower, while you are still in the shower, otherwise it’s likely to splash all over your floor! It’s supposed to be moisturizing. Just splash it on your arms, stomach, and legs, and rub it over all your skin. The scent is pretty strong at first, and will stay on you, less strongly, throughout the day. Especially nice in the summer!

I have loved Jean Nate for decades
It’s nearly impossible to purchase Jean Nate in stores today. Sometimes it shows up at Christmastime, but not always. I decant the after-bath splash in a few spritz bottles. One lives in my locker at the Y. Others in each of my bathrooms at home. It’s a light fragrance that can be used alone or with colognes and perfumes. I have never found a fragrance that clashes with Jean Nate. It’s a blend of citrus, floral, lavender, jasmine, rose, carnation, lily of the valley, cedar, tonka bean, musk, and sandalwood. Created nearly 90 years ago, it is as fresh and modern now as anything created today.
