I’ve been a fan of hypochlorous acid sprays for the last few years and thought it would be helpful to do a comparison of a few popular ones: Tower 28, e11ement (this one), and Briotech. The prices fluctuate a bit on Amazon, but all were purchased in the $10-12 range, with Tower 28 being the most expensive at 1 oz, e11ement in between at 2oz, and Briotech being the cheapest at 3.2 oz.HOClIn terms of formula, e11ement and Tower 28 claim to be 150 ppm while Briotech reports theirs is 140, and all 3 contain the same ingredients of water, NaCl, and HOCl. From a usage perspective, all have the faint bleach smell and seem to reduce inflammation and irritation in the same way. The only difference I can tell is that Tower 28 and Briotech are noticeably saltier than e11ement when some accidentally gets in my mouth.Spray bottleAside from price, this is probably the biggest differentiator for the 3 brands. Tower 28’s nozzle is the best one, and it produces a fine, even mist that makes it feel like a nice skin care experience. Briotech’s is the worst, with an uneven mix of tiny and larger droplets which requires more sprays to cover the same surface area and leads to some parts being drenched. e11ement’s spray nozzle is somewhere in between, not noteworthily good or bad, but perfectly fine.Overall, if price were no issue I’d purchase the Tower 28 version because the spray experience is so much nicer, and as HOCl degrades rather quickly having a smaller/fresher bottle is preferable (you’re supposed to minimize exposure of HOCl liquid to light or air, so decanting or pouring a big bottle into small bottles would not be a solve). e11ement is a great value stand in, both from a product and price perspective. The 2oz bottle is small enough to use up before the liquid loses effectiveness, it provides a nice enough spray experience, and is roughly half the price per oz as the Tower 28.

AMAZING skin treatment
I am OBSESSED with this product. As someone struggling with extremely sensitive skin who has rosacea, hormonal cystic acne, dry/oily combo skin, and also starting to get wrinkles, I’ve been desperate to find something that can at least minimize my breakouts and flares without irritating my skin. I’ve also been struggling with styes recently (ocular rosacea), and a patch of psoriasis in my eyebrow. I’ve tried most prescriptions and OTC products available for acne and papular/pustular rosacea, and everything just dries me out or inflames my skin further. I did some research on the latest products available (there’s always something new!) and coming across hypochlorous acid in acne and rosacea discussion forums. I decided to give it a try and the price from this company was reasonable. I figured if it didn’t do anything for my face, I could at least use the rest of the bottle as a general sanitizer.Well, this product exceeded my expectations entirely! I washed my face with my usual mild cleanser, and sprayed this all over my face, and went to bed. The next morning, the two weeks-old nodular acne bumps I had been fighting were almost completely flat, and there was no evidence of my pre-existing papular and pustular rosacea flare. Unexpectedly, my face felt really supple and moisturized, and the dry patches I had from previous spot treatments with acne meds were sloughing off, with clear, hydrated skin underneath. Like, WHAT IS THIS MIRACLE SPRAY? So I kept using it, in the morning and at night, and once or twice throughout the day, and my skin just kept getting better. Within a week, my skin was healed completely and I had absolutely zero new acne bumps. I only a got a couple tiny rosacea whiteheads on occasion, which I suspect was just purging because there was no inflammation surrounding them…when I flare, I get tons of these whiteheads along with angry, inflamed skin, but since using this spray, I only get maybe one or two, without the usual inflammation. The psoriasis in my eyebrow is now completely gone. Time will tell if this prevent styes, but I suspect it will help. The most incredible thing though is how my skin feels…like a child’s skin! I’m not even using moisturizer now! Imagine a treatment that doesn’t dry your skin out, but moisturizes it! My makeup goes on so much better, the fine lines aren’t as noticable, and my overall redness from the rosacea has gone down. My skin LOVES this stuff! I immediately ordered the set with travel size bottles so I can travel with it. Just try this stuff, there’s no risk!FYI, I went to the e11ement website directly to see if a refill size was available and ordered two 32oz refill bottles, saving a ton of money, including free shipping from Canada. I am stocking up in this stuff and telling everyone about it.

Refreshing spray & does it’s job!
I have dry to combo skin, and struggle with tiny bumps on my forehead. I’m usually a very sweaty person, so when I saw tiktoks about how hypochlorous acid can help with excess bacteria on the face from sweat, I started my search for a spray. I was hoepful of the benefits of hypochlorous acid, but didn’t want to invest in the Tower 28 spray just yet, so I tried the e11ement one instead since it seemed like a good deal! I ended up really enjoying this product, and I use it for mid-day refreshes before reapplying spf or after cleansing but before my toners and serums! Like the prior reviews may have stated, the mist does smell sort of like pool water, but I don’t mind the smell at all and it’s still perfectly safe for skin. The redness in my face/body clears up within an hour after spraying a little hypochlorous acid on the areas! It has been a few weeks since I’ve purchased this, and I’ve seen a considerable amount of improvement to my skin. My bumps aren’t as abundant and my skin texture has overall been smoother! I didn’t change much in my skincare routine besides introducing the spray, so I know the improvements are because of this spray!! Thank you e11ement <333

I have very oily and acne prone skin but this gave me dry flaky skin. Not sure if is the salt component but my skin response better to the baby brand with just hypochlorous acid.
