Fabulous!
I dreaded giving up my old blow dryer that I had been using for roughly 10 years, but I knew it was time to replace it. I read review after review for blow dryers and I kept coming back to this one (Hot Tools Pro Artist). My old dryer was going to be a tough one to beat so my criteria was high but my expectations were low (old model has been discontinued). This dryer is even better than my old one! It cut down on my dry time by roughly 50%, I love the attachments and how easy they are to use, I love the multiple heat and speed settings, and the long cord. I also love that the dryer isnât super hot to the touch when Iâm finished and I donât feel like I need to let it cool off before storing it. I also feel like itâs reasonably priced. The only downfalls are that itâs a little heavy (which I was prepared for because it was a con in a lot of reviews) and itâs a little noisy. Since I donât have to dry my hair as long as before, neither of these cons have a big impact.I would absolutely buy this dryer again!

It does what it says! Worth the upgrade!
I wasn’t sure if I would be able to tell the difference but I was wrong! It was featured in my “People” magazine as best overall and was on sale on Black Friday so thought I’d give it a try and return it if I wasn’t impressed. Let’s just say my old Chi dryer is now in a closet and this is the one that hangs in my bathroom! I’m shocked at how much quicker it dries my hair. It does weigh a bit more than my old one but since it’s less drying time I don’t notice. And I swear my hair looks less frizzy! Crazy!

Powerful
Very powerful, however, if you have curly hair and wish to use the diffuser, it is too powerful even on the low setting and just blows your hair around. Great for blowouts though.

Great when it worked, only lasted 5 months, however, customer service replaced it with a NEW one!
Was great for 5 months, worked well, good heat and air volume, then it just went dead.Contacted the manufacturer through their help link. They asked for the usual information like model and serial number and what happened. They said they wanted me to ship it back and asked for my shipping address.Still waiting for shipping label, very slow for some reasonâ¦..Update, they shipped me a brand new replacement! Very Happy!Suggest you contact them by phone with any problem, they are very helpful ð

Loved itâ¦..until I didnât.
I loved this blow dryer when I first got it. Although it was a little heavier then my previous blow dryer I didnât mind because I loved how quick it dryed my hair and how smooth and shiny it was. Cut to 3 months after purchasing this dryer and the heating element isnât working properly. Some days it blows hot, then others it wonât blow hot at all. If it does blow hot and I turn the dryer upside down or shake it a bit it stops blowing hot. I have called the 1 800 number for multiple days and it says they are closed. So now Iâm back searching for a new hair dryer.

Many settings and powerful
This hair dryer has many different heat settings from very hot to cool as well as power settings. As another review stated, the dryer has a bit of weight to it so if you have trouble with weight or keeping arms overhead this isnât for you. Dryer also has a long cord but can be banded up with twisty tie or rubber band if you donât need the length. The overall quality is very good.

Hair dryer
It drys my hair very fast and is a nice powerful blow. The only flaw it has is a button that’s on the handle that’s always be pushed when I dont need it. Not in a good place. It’s no big deal though because it’s only a power boost of cold air. Really cant see the purpose of that. All in all very happy with this hair dryer.

Great when it worked; died almost a year to the day from purchasing
Many reviews of this product seem similar: it’s great when it works — but doesn’t work for very long. I checked my prior Amazon orders just to make sure — I have never (in 35 years of blow drying my hair, LOL) had a dryer break as quickly as this one. I was doing my hair and it literally stopped working with no warning — that was it. It was dead ): (Luckily my hair was mostly dry, or we would have had an emergency, LOL)! In all seriousness: several folks have indicated theirs didn’t last longer than 4 months — I seem to have been lucky to get a year out of mine. Everyone reports the same issue: the motor just burns out. Respectfully, IMHO: for $75, a dryer should work MUCH longer than 1 year. As much as I liked this dryer when it worked, I have purchased a different brand of replacement dryer. I can’t afford $75 to replace this one once a year! Bummer.
