No allergic reaction
Comes out a little dark if left on too long but will even out over the first week. No horrible smell or chemical irritation. Does not come with an application bottle just a brush. When growing out it does not fade evenly will see a line of demarcation similar to regular box color. Great product if you have allergies.

With long curly crazy hair I was not looking forward to coloring my hair my self during THIS period of time when I had little choice. I never thought I could cover all my grey. *I did*! Better than my hairdresser. I was amazed. Its so easy to mix up and applying was fine. The color was as expected. The product leaves hair feeling healthy. I feel good about the pureness of the ingredients which was my main draw. I needed two full boxes worth since it had been many months of no coloring. For a regular touch up, I’d likely only need one box, even with long hair. By the way, I usually use henna. I like this better. why? 1. coverage is better initially and plus it lasts longer and 2. the herbs and conditioners in this product make my hair feel healthier. Try it; I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

It’s ok…
I like that it’s cruelty free and there’s barely a smell. My hair is medium/light brown long past my shoulders. I’m starting to get some grays in my temples and by my ears. I only apply the color to these spots for 40 minutes once a month. I use the 6n dark blonde and it seemed to have matched almost perfectly. It covered most of the grays.. I wash my hair with shea moisture shampoo and blowdry it every day. Now the color seems to be fading to a dark Auburn. I read a lot of reviews and I’m not looking to start mixing colors. I’m going to try a different cruelty free brand. If that doesn’t work then I’m going back to the salon.

Iâm in my mid 30âs and my hair has never been dyed before. I did not want to go to the salon because of $$$ and keeping my hair free of chemicals, healthy and undamaged is a major priority.My natural hair color is chestnut brown and comes down to my elbows. I ordered the Dark Blonde after reading all the reviews that the color comes out darker. It is a perfect match to my natural color! The color is definitely not dark blonde but I found the picture on the top of the box is an accurate color match. Iâm glad I ordered the dark blonde as opposed to the browns-wouldnât be a good match to my medium/light brown hair. I love it, natural looking, feels healthy, covered all my grays and exactly what I wanted.If you are wanting blonde, I would not order the dark blonde or you will have chestnut brown hair!

Have been using this brand for over 3 years. But this particular order was not as expected. The product didnât perform as it was supposed to. Grey hair were only covered 50%. Disappointed!

Silky Smooth Hair!
This is probably the BEST hair color I’ve ever used. 100% gray coverage, no smell of ammonia (it actually had no smell at all) and it made my hair actually shiny and silky smooth!! If I must say one thing (maybe two), it’s the fact that you need to mix the solutions in your own container (any plastic container would do…I used the old ice cream container) and also there is no applicator so you have to have a brush to apply the solution to your hair (luckily, I had an old tinting brush that came with a hair color I bought a long time ago).I recommend that you pick a color that’s a few shades lighter than your desired color. I picked “dark blond” instead of “dark brown” which is my natural hair color because I read in other’s reviews that the color comes out much darker than the picture. And it came out great! But if you want your hair to be lighter, you need to pick lighter ones, 7N ~ 9N. That’s what it says in the direction.

Very nice hair colour!! I will definitely reorder this product. I was surprised by the fact it didn’t come with an applicator, the directions say to mix in a bowl and apply with a brush to cut down on waste. I happened to already have a hair colour application brush so I was all set. I’m on board with any and all environmental initiatives! And I love that they don’t test on animals ð

Safer hair dye. Covers grey for a while (4 weeks). Red tones started coming through after a few weeks.This product should come with an applicator brush!
