Total game changer, not just for curly hair
Iâve been dealing with dandruff all my life, and I wish I knew about this product sooner. I delayed using it because the label says for curly and coiled crowns and I worried that it would make my (thin, straight) hair look oily. Literally A Life Saver
For a while now, i’ve been having really serious issues with a dry, flaky, itchy, red, and scaly hairline and face. It’s literally taking over the entirety of my face and my hairline, even going behind and in my ears and down to the back of my neck. I try to keep up with my hair and my skin, So with this coming out of nowhere, I was very blindsided, Embarrassed And dismayed. Every time I scratched my head, I would see flakes falling and my hairling was completely white with dryness and flakes. I used moisturizing creams that I would normally use on my face and my everyday hair oils, but nothing worked longterm and id just have to keep reapplying them. It was so bad that A few people even made a comment about my dry scalp, even my bossð¥²ð¥². Ive deduced that I may have a bad case of seborrheic dermatitis, but i needed to tackle the issue through 2 separate mediums, starting with my hair. Given my hair type, i can’t wash my hair every day, Especially after I get it done, so I couldn’t use head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner daily to help me with this issue. But then I found THIS. it’s from Head and Shoulders, but it’s specifically made for black people or people with really kinky, coarse or curly hair. I start applying this several times a day to my hairline, what I noticed my hair line looking a bit white or would I was starting to feel itchy, I would just apply it, even toting it around iny pocket at work so I could pull it out as needed. First of all the smell is amazing. The thickness is like that of a basic cream, not runny at all. It applies smoothly and doesn’t leave a greasy after feel or residue. After using this stuff like my life depended on it a few times a day for a few weeks, I realized one day that I hadn’t used it in a long time, because my head wasn’t itchy or flaky!!! I have a hard time keeping up with regimens, so I depended on the itch to keep me reminded lol. It’s been about a month or so since I’ve applied it and I still haven’t had any flakes or itch! I still have to tackle the issue with my face, but my hairline is back to normal! I wish I had pictures, the difference is night and day. And of course, if it begins to act up again, I know EXACTLY what to use. I still have about half a bottle left! Try this, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!

This stuff is pretty great
The marketing, including any YouTube review videos would lead you to believe this is a product for black woman with curly and coily hair. It’s all the promo pictures and nearly every YouTube video.I’m a 40 year white male with wavy hair who has struggled with itchy dry scalp and flakes for as long as I can remember. I would find myself subconsciously picking at scratching at my scalp all the time. This stuff, at the very least, helps with the dry and itchyness. I’ve only had it for a couple days and flakes seem to be nearly gone as well.Other reviews say it made their hair feel greasy but I think those people used too much product. Apply it directly to the scalp as best you can and use finger tips to massage it in everywhere. Yea you’ll get some in your hair there’s no way around it but if you don’t use a ton of rhe product it won’t be greasy. It also has a clean smell to it, almost like shampoo

I bought this for my husband who has recently developed some scaling on his scalp. I bought a special medicated shampoo but it isn’t taking care of all the flakes. I bought this based on description and reviews, and he has only been using it for a couple of days, so the jury is still out on effectiveness. However, since this is designed for use between shampoos – even can be used several times a day – I was surprised that it isn’t absorbed into the scalp but leaves the hair matted down and greasy. H has started using it only at night or when he doesn’t plan to be out and about, but that will probably reduce the effectiveness. Disappointed in that, but time will tell if it will work okay with this schedule.

Although I have only used this once. I would say it worked for just the itching only.. the flaking and dandruff didnât actually reduce or clear. I have tried multiple products to clear the dandruff and flaking and itching and only Pure Hemp oil has worked and completely cleared my scalp.
