Luxurious and effective
What a great addition to my routine! This feels expensive and like a treat for my skin when I use it. So hydrating, silky, and leaves my skin feeling soft and looking plump. I use prescription retinol and haven’t had a single bit of flaking or sensitivity anymore since introducing this product.I use it as a cream toner so it’s either first or second in my skincare routine depending on if I’m using a a watery toner first. I follow it with either a serum or moisturizing SPF and it’s really all I need.

I can’t believe how good this is!
I layer this with the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice toner. I apply that first and then this one and my skin is so happy and hydrated! I have no issues with it going dry or causing breakouts. It’s soothing and hydrating and so wonderful in the winter months. There are days when I just use the two toner and sunscreen, nothing else! This toner feels like a serum, doesn’t sting or burn and is fragrance free. If you have the OG black rice toner too, try pairing them together. You won’t be sorry!

HG MILKY TONER
I have tried every single milky toner I could find from Dr. Ceuracle, Rhode, Celimax, Tirtir, and Anua. If you have extremely dry or mature skin, your skin will ADORE THIS. I have extremely dry skin and mild perioral dermatitis around my nose. If you have oily skin, this may be overly moisturizing, in which case Anua and Tirtir Light are great because they provide moisture without being too much. But this is MILKY and thick, for intense hydration, hence its name for being a makgeolli essence. Nothing is more nourishing than this essence, it’s practically a liquid lotion. Nothing provides more dewy, glass skin either. I recommend if you your skin can never seem to be quenched. It is my holy grail milky toner.

I wanted to a step routine for my skincare, the very simple one I had before wasn’t helping my black/white head prone skin. Since adding this to my regime, my skin is so supple and it glows. I really like Haru Haru black rice product line and would continue to use this.

Amazing texture
Iâve only used this once, so treat this review with a grain of salt but the texture is just amazing. Itâs creamy and milky and hydrates like a moisturiser. If you have oily skin you can layer this and call it good. I have dry skin so I did layer it with a moisturiser. First impressions i really like it.

Feels Amazing
A thicker, more viscous hydrating essence. It comes out white, thick like a lotion mixed with some water – it doesn’t move quickly when it is on your hand. Since it is winter, I am using it with a face cream/lotion as well, but feel like in summer this could be your final moisture. I have been layering it with other products including the haruharu black rice hyaluronic toner.

This is like a watery lotion and it deeply hydrates my skin. You wont regret purchasing this one. I bought the smaller version to test it but Ill be repurchasing it in the bigger size. I have sensitive skin and have no issues with this essence.

Confezione solida, niente a che vedere con la plastica che di solito viene usata per Tonici/Essence.Prodotto consigliato a pelli secche, o pelli miste durante l’inverno, perché la consistenza è piu corposa dei soliti tonici: per interderci non è leggera o inconsistente come l’acqua di rose.Per pelli grasse potrebbe essere più utile il tonico di Anua, quello di I’m From al riso, o quello di TirTir Light.Questo di Haru Haru è un’essenza. La sensazione è quella di un tonico lattiginoso che lascia la pelle morbida e liscissima ed è subito molto, molto idratante.Senza profumo o alcool, quindi adatto a pelli sensibili.La skincare Koreana si riconferma un valido alleato per la pelle.
