I have lots of layers and this brush makes them more distinct and puffy. Brush does not get thru hair that is one length and thicker.

Not Dramatic, But Works Well
While I wouldn’t shoot fireworks about this hair “tamer”, I do think it’s a pretty good product. I have fairly long, fairly thick hair, and it frequently takes shape as a “hair pyramid”. I’m uneasy about using a hair flatiron on it, because even though I like the results, it damages my hair.This tool works much more gently. While you need to do a little more with it – you need to hold the locks of hair straight so the comb can get through – it gently tames it for a pretty nice overall look. (It might give a more exciting result on a higher temp than I used, but I color my hair and it advises only going as hot as the second setting.)Don’t expect this to give you “Cher hair”. But it does seem to calm the frizz, and diminish the hair pyramid so it looks reasonable. The Amazon ad (or maybe the enclosed booklet) notes that you should only use it on dry hair I wish it mentioned something about using a hair product with it. Unless I can dig up some info about that, I wouldn’t want to use anything until after I’m done working with it, lest it stick to the heating element.One MAJOR plus about this is that I don’t think it’s possible to accidentally burn yourself. My only complaint is that it’s very easy to inadvertently change the setting (located at the top of the handle) while you’re working with it, and that’s why I’m only giving it 4 stars.

I was extremely surprised how well this worked. It’s so easy, so convenient and i literally had my hair brushed and straightened in less than 5 min. It didn’t take long to heat up. The size is great literally can take it anywhere vs flat iron. And the wireless is probably the best beneficial feature. I paid double for a good flat iron the price for this is definitely something that now changed my mind about another flat iron.

I was excited that this Hair Straightener Brush actually worked on my hair. My hair is curly/wavy but it does take some work to straighten. Usually these types of straightener does not work for my hair. Iâm glad to say this was on point. It is easy to use, not heavy. It heats up pretty quickly. It glides in my hair and leaves it pretty straight. I still have to use a regular hair straightener for my roots tho. Itâs hard to get the roots with this. Overall itâs pretty good but still canât use it alone for my hair type.

Maybe it’s better for thick hair. I wasn’t in awe after using it on my fine hair, so I went back to my small regular straightener. This felt kind of bulky and didn’t give dramatic straightener results, if that makes sense. It was easy to use and heated up quickly just maybe not for me and my hair type.
