Great brush
Very nice brush! The bristles are soft but still get through my full head of fine hair without being too scratchy on the scalp. I have not noticed any bristle loss or fall out with the first few uses. The handle is comfortable and the wood is nice quality. Overall very nice brush at a great price

My mom needed a new brush and a soft one at that. She looked and I looked and I stumbled on this one. This was the perfect brush for her. Good quality were good hair is thin. The value for the money was right there when you have to wash it you can just use dish detergent like dawn

Replaced my Diane 8169 brush
I’m a four-decade waver who’s use Diane 8169 Softy brushes for years. Prior to that in late 70s and 80s, the thing to do was to buy any brush and put it in boiling water to create it’s softeness. So, you know I’m old school because that was a back-in-the-day process. Therefore, I appreciate the advancement and brush technology but don’t necessarily buy into the popular new school, high price brushes. I’ve seen the most amazing waves in my life from people using the cheapest brushes and just stocking caps from their mother’s stockings..lol. Iowa, I am open-minded to progress and do you think the young way was on YouTube, speaking of curved brushes. Although, I was not going to get those hat price brushes but I did purchase this as a price was white and the reviews were right and it was what I was looking for. I’m glad I did. This brush is amazing and and the curve makes it feel like it was custom-made for your head. I can’t get over how amazing that feel. I love the way it covers more ground with each stroke, than my Diane brush too. It is now my new weapon of choice four maintaining and progresssing my waves.Update 6/5/2021Brush is such the truth, my son used it and now he has one. As far as some of the reviews , criticizing the brush softness. You either didn’t know what type of brush you was purchasing because this is the soft version or you simply don’t know your hair texture. If you have coarse hair you need a medium brush. If you have medium hair texture, you require a soft brush as a medium is overkill. You notice in my title I mentioned the 8169 Diane brush. That is a soft brush. I have medium hair texture and soft brushes are compatible. Now, these brush type recommendations pertain to hair textures of black men or women with wavy haircut styles.

Works well, good quality. It has been great for the girls to use themselves with out pulling their hair. Great size.
