Works as described… Color works as expected on dark brown hair
Application: I am recovering from a slight injury, so my partner, who had never dyed anyone’s hair ever helped me with the application. We used two boxes and left it in for 30 minutes. It was easy for us to figure out, and (I think) they even had fun!Outcome: My hair is medium to dark brown hair with the tiniest amount of gray. I used this over my natural color for a dark purplish/reddish hint. The color is noticeable but not bold (as if I had bleached it first). In the attached video, I have washed and conditioned it one time.Conclusion: I do not dye my hair regularly, but if I ever wanted this color again, I would absolutely buy this brand. It was easy to use, and I like the color.

Nice color, didn’t last long
My daughter loved this color. However, it definitely didn’t last 15 washes. Probably more like 4-5 before it was completely gone. It only stayed bright for 1-2.

Missing Info
It would have been helpful to know that this product is sized for short hair. I have below-the-shoulder length hair. Because I wanted the pastel color, I premixed the color/conditioner per directions. The quantity was vey small – no way would it begin to cover my hair. So I used the second conditioner and mixed that also. It’s all I had; I used it all. My hair is gray/white, and on the thin side, but this was nowhere near enough to cover well. My hair turned out the perfect color (Yay!!) but was somewhat streaky because there was not enough to cover it. I am left with nearly a full tube of color and no conditioner to mix it with.I left the mixture on for about 4 minutes and that was definitely sufficient for a nice pastel purple. I wish I had known that the amount of mixture would be insufficient to completely cover, but now I know. I may keep the unused deep color tube and try mixing it with my regular conditioner. My hair does feel nice; doesn’t seem to be harsh or damaging.

Stinks
I have been coloring my hair both in salon and at home for more than 15 years. This is not my first rodeo with fashion colors. This dye smells like mildew/ dirty dish water/ ick. I read the reviews and saw some others had the same issues and some didn’t. For the price I was willing to try it. Let me tell you. My hair stank for several washes. I could not get it out. Even with my salon quality product. The color held fairly well though.

Got this for my daughter. She has dark brown hair so we weren’t originally expecting to much pink however her hair turned out beautifully.Easy application though I would suggest applying it directly to your hair or on hand first instead of the plastic “bowl” that comes with as it can be a pain to get the dye out with gloved hands.The first time came out more auburn than pink. We did another application 2 weeks later and the pink really showed through wonderfully.Don’t be alarmed if you see a ton of pink come out in your first couple of washes.If you have long or thick hair, you will need at least 2-3 boxes. I did the bottom 12 inches of my daughters hair and to get it to the desired colour, it took 4 boxes. Make sure you get enough!Overall we are satisfied and my daughters hair still has a ton of pink after 8 washes so far!

My 7 year old daughter really wanted some fun color in her hair. She has light brown natural hair. We first tried Manic Panic and it did absolutely nothing. Then I picked up this stuff. I wasn’t sure how well it would take so we just did the front pieces in her hair. I was very impressed with how vibrant the color turned out! It lasted a few weeks, and faded to a pretty pink color which she loved as well. She got lots of compliments on her hair, I would highly recommend this product for sure and we plan tot he other colors. Be aware that the amount you get is abit on the small side so you may need 2 kits.

Didn’t last as long as I wished but it’s probably my hair and not the dye .
