Best that I’ve found for what I need
We all know that straight razors cause your hair to get darker and thicker and I was always afraid to use one on my arms. But I could never find a good electric razors after they stopped making the one I had. I found this one and decided to see if maybe this one was different than all the others.It is so worth the money and much nicer than any of the ones I’ve seen in a store. Frustration free! Easy to clean and use for a quick shave or like I use it for my arms.I wouldn’t recommend it for thick hair though. It last because I only use it on my soft peach fuzz on my arms. My legs would reck this.

Great trimmer that wonât cut or snag
This is my second purchase of this item as my last one lasted several years. Itâs a great little trimmer that gets a decent close shave considered itâs not exactly a razor. Definitely a closer shave than others on the market. It wonât cut you or snag on your skin and no irritation. I have VERY sensitive skin and I have never had an issue with this one. A great buy.

Great mini torture device
Tried this product out the day it arrived for my bikini line area. I have coarse hair but was already trimmed quite short. This product pulled hair constantly without the comb. I then added the comb attachment to try on my landing strip which is also pretty short and it was unable to do a decent job. It left my landing strip very patchy and uneven. Short story even shorter, i tried this item for a couple mins with a brand new battery and was so displeased it went straight to the trash and i picked up a basic razor and shaved my landing strip off due to how patchy it was. I will never buy another gillette trimmer and suggest you don’t as well unless you want a tiny little torture device that unevenly rips your hair out.

Not terrible, not life-changing either
Meh. It’s not bad. I’d prefer a shorter attachment and if you move it even a smidge too fast without the attachment, it’ll just rip hair out. Have to press down decently hard to get the trimmer to cut hair down far enough to not be stubble, which then leaves your skin red, so I doubt that this is something you could use to “touch up real quick” before heading out to the pool or something like that.

I was looking for an electric shaver just to trim my bikini area and the one I had didn’t have a guide and it would tear out hairs OUCH! So I decided to try this one when I got the new Venus Platinum razor cause they match all cute. When I first used it I expected I could use it like my other electric shaver to buzz down my leg hairs before shaving close (my post winter legs always need this) and GOD DAMN. I tried it without the plastic guide and ohh boy it just ate me up. Little nicks and cuts then it took out a chunk of my thing I said no more of this nonsense. So I put the plastic guide back on and it is never coming off. But fortunately it works just great for the actual reason I bought it. I can keep my bikini hairs nice and trimmed up and not end up shaving to much hair off and having to just go bare like I was doing forever. I feel like a woman baby!! With the guide on it’s great for trimming and that’s all I’m going to use it for!

IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN WITHOUT COMPLETELY TAKING IT APART
So the Gillette Venus Bikini Women’s Trimmer: Battery Power Bikini.. It worked alright at first. It trimmed the hair but snagged the skin a couple times. Then it wouldn’t work anymore. I tried washing the top with water but could tell there were some stray hairs stuck in there. Anyways the quick wash was enough to get it to work again. But of course it stopped again. Finally today I decided to REALLY clean it. I pried open the top a teensy bit and saw some hairs. I ended up taking the whole top piece apart completely and it was like I had never cleaned it once. HAIRS EVERYWHERE! No wonder it kept getting jammed. I managed to put it back together somehow and it works again but rinsing the top part with water to clean it doesn’t do anything. I might as well keep using it but I definitely wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known how impossible it is to clean.
