Love the color!
I really love the way the color stays, the way the hair dye covers all the gray and whites without drying my hair. Olia is the only hair dye that I will use , and as long as they keep making the light natural auburn, I will keep on buying Olia ! Great product!

My Go-To Hair Color â Just Wish It Was Easier to Find!
I absolutely LOVE this hair color, but unfortunately, itâs been hard to find lately. I color my hair way too often, and in the past, it used to damage my hair. After my sister, a cancer survivor, recommended I avoid ammonia in hair products, I switched to Garnier Olia Ammonia-Free Permanent Hair Color, and I havenât looked back.Iâve always had strawberry blonde hair, and I mix this with the Garnier Hair Color Olia Ammonia-Free Brilliant Color Oil-Rich Permanent Hair Dye in 8.0 Medium Blonde. The result is perfect every timeârich, vibrant color without the harsh chemicals. I just wish it were easier to find in stores! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a gentle, yet effective hair color.

Do not buy
The product came open and empty. It did not even spill. it looked like the content was poured out and left empty and shipped. The box also came damaged and the description of the item was different than from what I got. Just not a good buy.

very, VERY pleased with this nice cool toned brown
Purchased 4.0 Dark BrownFor the longest time I used a natural hair colorant and then one day it did not seem to get the deep brown shade that I longed for. I am 43 years old and my once medium brown hair is probably 50% grey from age, stress, and pain. I started dabbling in other brands and this is the first time I have tried Garnier Olia.I must say I am very happy with the color. The brown is cool toned which is what I need. I guess you would call me a “cool winter” as far as color. I run between pale skin in the winter to a medium skin tone in the summer with pink undertones. I have grey eyes. I look good in colors such as black, blue-red, deep purple, just about all blues, etc.I colored my hair a few days ago and when rinsing it out. I just used conditioner. I find this helps the color sit and take longer. I then washed it 2 days later with a mild shampoo followed by conditioner. In the last number of days, I have actually gotten a number of compliments on my hair, which, it has been a long time since that happened. I used to get compliments all the time, but as I got older it slowly stopped. Now that I have gone back darker, THIS seems to be my shade and, I am going to stick with it for awhile.I have hair that is past my waist and this whole kit seemed to cover my roots and actually do my entire head with a pretty even color. I think, it you wanted a more uniform, deep color and your hair is super long, perhaps a bottle and a half to two? I was actually happy with the one bottle.I have never paid to have my hair colored. I have always done it myself. It is so easy these days. This brand did not seem to damage my hair. Since it is long and I am ‘older’ I am pretty particular about my hair products. I follow my washes with Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil and usually something by Living Proof and then I sleep on it all overnight. I wash at night to let my hair pick up some natural oils since my hair is normal to dry in nature. Using this hair color did not change my hair texture, if anything, it feels a little better, a little less frizzy at the ends. This is good.Overall … I will be purchasing this brand and this color again. Very pleased. Please see the video for before and afters. I think I probably had an inch of grey grown out and my previous color and brand had faded a lot.

Love this one!
I’ve been using this brand (and color) for a while and I really like it. I find all the red tones are very rich and bright, it makes my hair feel smooth and silky and the color lasts for quite a while. I can usually just touch up roots and I’m good to go for a bit longer before the next dye session. My natural color is a bit of a light brown with reddish tint/highlights and these red dyes are pretty intense, so if your hair is lighter or bleached, expect the result to be VERY bright and saturated!

Mixed Results
I used 6.6 Light Intense Auburn. For reference I have light brown hair. This is supposed to make it bright red. I havenât used this type of dye before, but have used many types and brands over the years, those with ammonia and those without, permanent and semi permanent. On my hair I had fuschia under the top layers. The top layer had been dyed with a bright red from Revlon Colorsilk, which worked well. Then I had at least 2 inches of growth, which is where I used this color. The first huge issue with this is the packaging design. Itâs unnecessarily large and bulky, which isnât very environmentally friendly. Everything is plastic. The developer, bottle to mix and the plastic is slippery. Once youâve struggled getting everything into the mixing bottle without tipping it over (the shape makes it easily tippable), youâre required to shake it with your finger over the end. If youâve made the mistake of getting any of the product on your gloves while trying to mix it, it makes it impossible to hold on to the applicator bottle. And because of its shape and material it is incredibly easy to drop. My hair felt pretty rough after washing out the color, but the conditioner they include is really good. Results are mixed. The color isnât very red or bright. The back didnât seem to take well at all. I usually get good coverage with almost all dyes. Personally, I wouldnât get this ammonia free again, there are others that work much better.

YES!!! It DOES color white hair!!!
OK, I’m an “older” woman who has thin shoulder length white hair. Or I should say HAD. My hair is still thin, but my totally white (not grey) hair went to totally black again!!!. I stopped coloring my hair 3 years ago because of the mess., and chemicals, but recently got tired of looking at that awful white, which made me look and feel disgusting, not to mention, look way older than I am. This Olia is a game changer!!! First of all, no smell. No mess either. I used to get the black stain all over my hands and shower when rinsing. The other product dripped and stained my face too. Olia only stained my hair. Since I have thinner hair, I only kept this on for 20 minutes. The enclosed after-coloring cream made my thin frizzy hair feel more like normal. It takes a lot to impress me, but this sure did!

I got this in light intense auburn. My hair had really been through the ringer lol, with box dye a few times as well as several bleachings. Before this, my hair was a medium, patchy all-over blonde (at-home bleach job) that had been toned but was still somewhat yellow, especially at the roots. This dye took wonderfully and gave me a nice, lovely, mostly even red. It’s a little more dark and plum in real life than in the photo. I have really thick, coarse, asian hair and two boxes of this was more than enough. It didn’t make my hair feel more damaged than it was before, it feels about the same if not better, actually. Highly recommend, I’ll probably repurchase!

Coloured my roots nicely. The product is very thick & I had a slight problem getting all the color out of the bottle but the result is good. Covered the dark hair at the back & grey in the front. I will use this product every time now.
