Love it ð
I recently tried Garnier Micellar Water with Rose Water and Glycerin, and it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. This product excels at gently yet effectively removing makeup, dirt, and impurities without irritating my sensitive skin. The inclusion of rose water and glycerin leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and refreshed, rather than stripped and dry like some other cleansers. The pleasant, subtle rose scent adds a touch of luxury to my daily routine. It’s also incredibly convenient to use, making it perfect for both a quick cleanse and a thorough makeup removal. I highly recommend Garnier Micellar Water with Rose Water and Glycerin for anyone looking for a gentle, effective, and hydrating cleanser.

Effectively & quickly removes makeup without irritation
This micellar water with rose is great for removing my makeup without causing irritation. I even use this sometimes just to wash my face when I don’t feel like washing with water. I would definitely recommend this this! I’ve got it on Subscribe & Save.

Full Review & Comparison to the other Garnier Micellar Waters
TL;DR: Does what it promises; gently cleans thoroughly without harsh rubbing or harsh surfactants while nourishing & hydrating the skin. You DO need to rinse it off though. The RoseWater & Waterproof ones are the best in the lineup. Iâve finished my second bottle and will be rebuying.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HAS MANY ADVANTAGES & VERY FEW DRAWBACKSPros:â¢Worksâ¢Gentleâ¢Soothingâ¢Affordableâ¢No Sulfatesâ¢No Alcoholsâ¢No Fragranceâ¢Non-Strippingâ¢Non-Sensitizingâ¢Non-Comedogenicâ¢Subtle aroma/scentâ¢Nourishing ingredientsâ¢Doesnât aggravate acneâ¢Doesnât exacerbate acneâ¢Doesnât irritate my eyesâ¢Doesnât leave much residueâ¢Suitable for very sensitive skinâ¢Suitable for dry & balanced skinâ¢Suitable for oily-dehydrated skinâ¢Dissolves oilbased cosmetics wellâ¢Dissolves waterbased cosmetics wellâ¢Removes any filth on the skinâs surfaceâ¢Removes any excess sebum on the skinâs surfaceCons:â¢Adds less hydration than advertisedâ¢Removing heavy mineral sunscreens takes effortâ¢Waterproof/waterresistant cosmetics takes effortâ¢It removes thin ointment like neosporin but it doesnât fully remove thick ointments, such as, vaseline, aquaphor & cerave healing ointment.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DOES WHAT IT PROMISESCompared to the other micellar waters Iâve tried, it does seem to replace some of the hydration you lose from cleansing off your sebum & sweatAt the end of a day my skin will have some filth, sebum, eyeliner, eyebrow powder, mascara, tinted hybrid sunscreen & pore blurring primer on it.Itâs mild unlike harsh makeup wipes that tug at your skin & have tons of preservatives. All I need to do is soak both sides of a thick (âpremiumâ) cotton pad with the solution and wipe with each side to get my face & neck clean. Then Iâm ready to rinse with cool water and follow up with either a face wash or a wet microfiber makeup remover cloth (all micellar waters have surfactants that should be washed off the face)The first step of my nightly skincare routine. After I finish cleaning I wipe my face with Stridex (toner) pads. The pad is always free of residue so Iâm certain that this is cleaning effectively!Note: The Rose water version will probably only be 4/5 stars for people who prefer to regularly wear very heavy makeup, waterproof makeup or water-resistant mineral sunscreens. Try Garnierâs waterproof version or one of Biodermaâs micellar water.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~GOOD FOR VARIOUS SKIN TYPESMy skin type is combinationLips & Chin = DryT-Zone & next to the nose = OilyRest of the face = Balanced/Normalso I needed a makeup remover/pre-cleanser thatâs compatible with my entire face and this fits the bill!It sufficiently cleanses my oily areas without stripping the balanced areas and it keeps my dry areas hydratedI mainly use this on my face & neck and itâs works just as well on both areas. My face is acneic and normal-resilient. My neck is acne-free and normal-sensitive.I felt the need to test the acidity of this product before saying it wonât sensitize your skin because many people experience irritation or barrier damage from regularly using cleansers & toners. The healthiest skin has a pH no higher than 5.0. It appears this Micellar Rose Water has a pH right between 4.5 & 5.0 (see picture) so you donât have to worry about it altering your skinâs healthy acidity level.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A GREAT ADDITION TO THE LINE UPIâve tried the âAll-in-1 Waterproofâ version (Clear bottle, Blue Cap) & itâs the best if you want a deep clean very quickly. IIRC it leaves a bit more product residue, lacks skin nourishing additives & doesnât hydrate; so itâs not the best choice for everyone. The âAll-in-1 Mattifyingâ version (Clear Bottle, Green Cap) I canât recommend. Acne prone individuals may gravitate towards it because it reduces shine, oil & bacteria temporarily but; none of the ingredients âpurify poresâ and using tons of denatured alcohol on your face daily is not great for your lipid barrier. People with super oily skin should probably buy one of the other micellar waters and use it as their first cleanser then wash off the residue with a foaming cleanser, benzoyl peroxide cleanser or a salicylic acid cleanser. The âAll-in-1 Brighteningâ version (Translucent Yellow Bottle, Yellow Cap) is okay but vitamin c needs to be on your skin for at least 30 minutes before being washed off to brighten skin or lighten pigment and youâre absolutely not supposed to regularly leave micellar water on your face for more than a couple minutes. The âAll-in-1 Sensitiveâ version (Clear Bottle, Pink Cap) is the most similar to this one in my experience. I would recommend it for people with sensitive skin that isnât prone to roughness nor dehydration. The nourishing ingredients added to this Rose water version of the product makes it a stand out!Propanediol is a good humectant & emollient making it good for dehydrated skin conditions. It also boosts the effectiveness of things like salicylic acid.Glycerin is also an amazing humectant.Rosa damascena flower water may have skin conditioning, antimicrobial, antioxidant & anti-inflammatory benefits making it great for both dry & acneic skin.Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is a good cleansing surfactant for keeping your skin clean but itâs very mild compared to others making it good for sensitized skin.Salicylic acid slows how quickly acne bacteria reproduces & purifies the pores. The Garnier SkinActive micellar water line up needed this product.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Cleans very well
I like to use this to take off makeup before a good cleanser or as a toner before makeup and my skin always feels super clean afterwards and not too terribly dry. I always put on a face cream after still but I think it makes the skin really glowy even in a simple routine

Works Well
We prefer the rose water to the regular one offered by Garnier. Cotton ball and this micellar water removes eye make up and stubborn mascara (I don’t use waterproof mascara, so I don’t know if it would work. I think waterproof mascara needs special remover). We’ve bought this numerous times. Very satisfied.

Micellar water is all the rage right now and the Garnier Micellar water is a cult product. So though I have been using makeup wipes since forever, I decided to switch to using Micellar water for removing my makeup before cleansing my face.Positives:It does an excellent job of removing all the grime and makeup from my face. I pour a generous amount the micellar water on a cotton pad and use it to wipe my face clean. The rose water adds a touch of freshness to it and I love how hydrated my skin feels. The glycerine does make it feel slightly oily but since I follow it up with a face wash, it really does not make it feel sticky or greasy.I have sensitive, oily skin and this product hasn’t broken me out. I have finished using half the bottle in the last four months. And thought this product mentions it is for sensitive to dry skin, I have been using it for my oily skin this winter as my skin tends to get dry (especially during Canadian winter). Come summer I will switch to the basic one from Garnier. Honestly no complaints with this product. Its a 5/5.Negatives: None

I’ve tried high and low end micellar waters and this one is honestly one of my favourites. It’s cheap, accessible, and works great. It does not irritate my eyes or my skin, smells subtly of roses and works to remove any oily residue or light makeup. I use it primarily in the AM as my cleanser or in the evenings if I don’t wear makeup. If I did wear makeup, I’ll use an oil or balm cleanser first and then follow up with this.
