I’m going to teach you the secret to perfection
This is my third order of Furlesse Lip-sticks. – I have given the product 5 stars, but I feel a twinge of guilt in doing so ONLY because of the the formula the company uses for adhesion (cohesion?) (I wish I’d paid more attention in that 7th grade science class). Perhaps because the Furlesse strips are smaller than most, the “glue” is a tad more problematic than other products I use. The SIZE is what makes them remarkable. But, until recently, I always found them somewhat difficult to remove, without experiencing a tiny amount of pain and a NOT so tiny amount of … concern. Concern for the size of the PORES ABOVE MY TOP LIP for example. (And truth told, these are my favorite pores. IF you know what I mean.) – These’s nothing comforting about pulling these little critters off your face. Fact: The skin around our lips and eyes has an inferiority complex and get its feelings hurt VERY easily. It does NOT react well to tugging or stretching. But one cannot avoid doing both when attempting to remove these darling little miracle strips. SO, I came up with the perfect solution for MY skin. I tried using warm water to loosen the adhesive … nope.I tried using cccold water … nada. I tried washing my face w/ Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. – HA! -No cigar. (DANG!) So, I finally decided to put my HUMONGOUS 1 liter bottle of Bioderma Atoderm Oil to good use and VOILA! The luscious oil removes the adhesive with ZERO effort. I dispense a small amount of the oil onto a cotton swab and gently massage the strips off my skin, without drama or guilt. PERFECTION! The strips do an AMAZING job and are a Godsend to those of us who have a sneaking suspicion that the (albeit, purified form of) clostridium botulinum (aka BOTOX) is perhaps NOT a good thing to inject into our bodies.

Great results if your expectations are reasonable
You need to understand the concept behind these in order to have realistic expectations. If you have lines from furrowing your brow this patch is going to pull that area tight, smoothing the line(s) and making it so the muscle can not make any movements while wearing. I was using frownies and I wanted to try these because they are peel and stick without the water activated adhesive. They go on and off with ease and you can wear product underneath. When worn these prevent you from scrunching your brow, effectively smoothing out the area when worn overnight. I’ve found that overnight when dreaming I make a lot of facial expressions so I wake up with a hard line, I also make a lot of facial expressions during the day that contribute to the development of wrinkles I have between my brows. These aren’t going to reverse the line, but they do accomplish a few things: 1. After one wear they will smooth and soften out the line temporarily for a few hours. 2. After consistent wear I have found that my lines have softened, if my skin is being stretched outwards instead of scrunching inward it will start to soften the crease. 3. For preventative use – I find that wearing the patches subconsciously trains me to furrow my brow less, and I believe that if nothing else it is at least “erasing” the expressions I’ve made during that day so I feel like with continued use my lines will not get deeper. I’ve used frownies and these for a while and they do make a difference, I switched to these because the process is much easier and less messy. Nothing is going to make the line go away completely unless you are willing to do Botox. my skin: *I am 34 years old so my eleven lines are not too deep, but they are apparent with a resting face and in photos.

caused an insidious and scary skin reaction over time
Update: Fortunately, the second week after stopping use of this product, my skin began to peel. It peeled slowly for another week, and now it is almost completely back to normal in that area. I am so grateful there doesn’t seem to be long term damage but it was scary to see what this product did to my skin over time. If you choose to try this product, keep a very close eye on what reaction your skin is having, and take a break from the product for a few days every once in a while to make sure there are no adverse effects that aren’t immediately visible. In retrospect, I had noticed some redness previously but the area looked so plump I figured maybe it was a good thing. Yeah, that wasn’t “plumpness,” it was swelling from a poor reaction to the adhesive.———————————I had given this product 4 stars but i am changing my rating to 1 and would give it 0 if that were possible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!I’ve been using this product for several weeks around the area between my brows and was pretty happy with it, despite the adhesive being extremely difficult to fully remove and despite my skin looking shinier/oilier in the area where I had used the patch. But this evening, after a 5 day hiatus of using the patch (taken as a break from the adhesive), I looked more closely at my skin and noticed that the area where I’ve been applying this god forsaken skin destroying patch looks completely different from the rest of my healthy, thick, forehead skin- itâs waxy looking, paper thin / film-like, and shiny – IN THE EXACT SHAPE OF THE PATCH – and if I furrow my brow the skin there gets lots of crepey, shiny wrinkles. WTF? I’m going to see a dermatologist to figure out whatâs going on and how to deal with this but this product should come with strong warning about possible adverse reactions, which I see now plenty of people have had. It’s shameful that this company is not upfront about that, like some other companies that make similar products are. Whatever is in that adhesive is potentially not safe to use repeatedly on facial skin.

These do minimize my “eleven” when used nightly. I also use Frownies. These ones are no-muss no-fuss and are better for travelling. Cons – they cost more than Frownies and are a bit more flexible than Frownies so don’t hold my “eleven” quite as flat.

I prefer the frownies over these..they just seem to hold the wrinkle much more taunt .THese are clear so much nicer looking on ,almost invisible but for me they are a fail as they don’t improve as expected . Perhaps if you have a very slight line. But these for me do nothing much
