Gorgeous!
I was excited to try this product, as I’ve seen the company’s ads with their beautiful products, and wanted to see for myself if they were as nice in real life. I was not disappointed! Wow, the compact is simply stunning – gorgeous, weighty and solid, not flimsy at all. And the blush itself is silky and goes on smoothly. The color is subtle but buildable. I recently got an expensive pressed powder that came in a cheap plastic compact that looked like it could have come from the dollar store, but this is so beautiful it makes me happy just to look at it! Very pleased.

Fit for a fairytale fantasy princess
Flower Knows knows how to make the most lovely Rococo-style princess beauty items. This Midsummer Fairytales blush in the shade Ballet Fairy is simply stunning! From the ornately decorated case to the pretty embossed powder, I am so in love with this blush! It’s such a statement piece to have in my makeup collection. It is a highly pigmented rosy pink that elevates a natural blushed glowy look and is very on trend for coquette/ballerina looks.I adore everything about this collection. The quality is outstanding!

This is a review of the Midsummer Fairytales Velvet Embossed Blush from the Flower Knows Store. The compact in which this blush is contained is very beautiful. The blush itself is embossed with a fairy and butterflies. It is almost too pretty to use. The color of the blush is beautiful as well.

I wish this were better
Midsummer Fairytales Velvet Embossed Blush is bright, pigmented, and wears terribly. My brush picks up an uneven amount of blush and deposits some chunky cosmetic on my face. Then I try to sheer it out, fail miserably, and end up with a blotchy, patchy, fake-rosy face. This is a bad look.The compact itself is gorgeous. The exterior of the compact is very pretty, with gold trim, a lovely little scene, and a heavy feel that belies the rather inexpensive feel of the blush inside. Even the blush is embossed with a beautiful little picture that makes me sad when I disturb the top, brushing down the sharp edges of the picture with a brush.But I feel that the price reflects the packaging. The blush itself is so-so. I would rather have a great blush and minimal packaging, instead of the other way around. I just have a hard time using this blush effectively; my brush picks up blotchy pigment, and it is very difficult to even it out. Other blush, liquid and powder, is gloriously smooth, while this blush is blotchy and sticks to my skin.Pass.

Midsummer Fairytales Velvet Embossed Blush
The palette on this blush is so beautiful but I can’t tell if it leans gaudy or just pretty. You be the judge. The blush itself comes in a sealed box and the puck itself is embossed. That aside the color on this is BEAUTIFUL! I can’t imagine this color not looking good on just about any skin color. The texture is smooth and the powder is pretty pigmented.

Lovely product, easy to apply
This is a beautiful blush. Midsummer Fairytales Velvet provides just a hint of color- more like a natural blush. I have applied it with both a brush and a sponge. I also like that it doesn’t flake all over my clothing when I am putting it on. It comes in a lovey compact that is easy to open unlike so many other blush compacts. One small complaint — unfortunately it has a weird long-last chemical smell to it. Hoping I get used to the smell as I really like this blush and would love to try some of the other colors….like Ballet Summer Fairy. And I hope they offer refills as the compact itself is a work of art.

The packaging on this blush is truly next level. Itâs stunning to keep on your vanity. The blush inside is just as beautiful. This color packs pigment! Use a light hand for application unless you want a bright, bold look. It blends nicely though. The embossing is next level just like the packaging. I almost feel bad dipping a brush in it lol! Definitely recommend this if you want a luxury experience.
