They work!
I have a bad habit of picking at my ingrown hairs when I’m anxious or depression. It leads to redness, bleeding, sometimes scarring. I was too embarrassed to go to the dermatologist about it even though it wasn’t a big problem. When I bought these pads, I had been using Tend skin products too and these work just as well! Redness and scarring has gone down immensely and the skin around the problem area looks much better. It dried fast, and even though it says 28 pads, you can split em up to maximize the lifespan of the batch. The smell is sorta alcohol-like, but it isn’t strong in any way. Definitely going to buy these more often.

Works, but very small container
Updating because I’ve used an entire container and I think it works ok. I wouldn’t call it a miracle product, but the pads seem to be effective at keeping ingrowns away. I also use it on my elbows, heels, and knees or where there is rough skin.First impressions: Haven’t had a chance to see how well the whole container works, but I wanted to share how small the package is. Much smaller than expected. Smaller than Stridex pads.

Disgusting But Effective (Gross Details Below)
I had what I thought was an ingrown hair in a very sensitive area, and I was about to go to the doctor for it. It was huge, it was painful, and every attempt I’d made with hot compresses, aftershave stuff, a gentle exfoliating toner, and baths had failed. It had only gotten bigger (I am not kidding when I say this was like two cranberry size bumps under the skin). As a last ditch effort, I bought these.I used them yesterday, right out of the shower, and I will tell you that it burned like absolute fire. Like, I nearly washed myself with cool water. I’d been messing with this thing quite a bit though, so it makes sense that my skin was not in the best shape to begin with. It really stung quite a bit for about 10 minutes, on top of the existing pain in that area.While I was showering the next day (so roughly 24 hours), I was washing it, and I could tell that it felt different. It was smaller, less hard, and there was something weird on the top. I couldn’t figure out what it was, and I had to take a closer look after the shower once I had my glasses. What I initially thought was a gigantic head that I was certain would pop with very little provocation turned out to be what I think was a keratin plug? It was a little yellow stone thing that came out (not an ingrown hair).One night, and something that has been painful and disruptive for almost a week was taken care of. Although it’s not fully back to normal, the difference between yesterday and today is insane, both in the way I feel and how it looks. I don’t think I will ever not have these in my house again purely because if this is how it worked on a bad clogged pore, what kind of effect will it have on the kind of everyday ingrown hairs everyone gets?
