Disappointing performance but great colors, nice price
These lipstick do go on smooth, dry down to matte quickly, but after a couple hours I will see “crumbs” or flakes around the lip borders. They are not from the lip liners as I tried them without lining just to see. Colors transfer also and, at least on my skin, do not wipe off easily if it gets smeared outside lip area or accidently anywhere else. Be sure to moisturize your lips well also as these seem to take that away. Using a clear gloss over it seems to make it last longer and keep the color from disappearing toward the inner lips, but then the gloss tube gets color transfer from the lipstick. The color disappearance towards the inner lip seems to happen even without eating or drinking on me. Not sure if maybe it is my body chemistry. In any case, the colors are nice in Set 2, my purchase, although a little different than what shows on my computer monitor. My skin color is medium to dark olive with blue undertones and Set 2 is complimentary color-wise for anyone with this same skin color and tone. Unfortunately, because of the need for frequent application, I will only wear these at home and walking the dog or other real quick outings. I wouldn’t recommend them for work wear, night out, anytime or anywhere that you would want to be fuss free and looking your best for the long haul. However, it is extremely budget-friendly with six tubes of sexy reds (Set 2) at a happily low price. No reason not to look fabulous answering the random door knock or cruising with the dog!

These are very pretty in color. They are a bit drying on the lips however. I just put a little chap stick on and it’s fine. The color last all day without needing to reapply. It doesn’t stain if you wear it all alone, however, with the dab of chapstick it does allows the color to transfer.

Cute lasting coverage but raw lips side affects
After using once on Sunday for a special occasion. I got the small lip stain ( sample size ) . Liked the color lasted thru drinks and snacks . Long lasting def matte .But after washing my face my lips were Struggling with rawness chapped feeling . Iâm sensitive with latex but in the ingredients listed . latex was not listed . Not sure what it can be . But for sensitive girlies be mindful when ordering . Throwing mine away .

Not bad for the money but there is a very chemical smell
The colors were just what I wanted, but overall not the greatest product for me given these factors:1) the SMELL. As soon as I opened the container and took out the lip applicator, the smell was so chemical and jarring. I was wondering if I was literally putting paint on my lips. I opened all the lip colors and they all smelled so chemical, which was concerning and I couldn’t get over it.2) the consistency. The lip color dries quickly and you have to put several layers on to make the opaqueness look “even.” Once you get the hang of layering the lacquer on, you have to hold your mouth open to let it dry or it’ll get splotchy and you’ll have to spackle on more lipcolor to get even matte-ness.3) staying power wasn’t as wonderful as I thought it would be. It was fine if I was walking around and just talking, but the color didn’t stay well if I was eating (and eating carefully).4) on the plus side, due to the formula, it was was pretty easy to wipe off with a makeup cleansing wipe.Overall, I liked the colors and it was great value, but I ended up tossing the set because I couldn’t get over the artificial smell and lack of staying power. I’d recommend NYX or Maybelline matte lip colors over these.
