🌍 100% BIODEGRADABLE DISHWASHING SPONGES: eplanita’s natural dishwashing sponges are made from pure loofah plants, which means they are completely biodegradable and . Clean your dishes and be “zero waste” to the planet.
✅ ECONOMICAL & SPACE SAVING: Each of our eco friendly kitchen sponges will last you between 4 – 6 weeks, so with our pack of 6 you could get up to 9 months of supply. eplanita’s kitchen scourer sponges will arrive to you compressed and thin but when soaked in water they will expand and get a sponge like shape.
✳️ CLEAN YOUR ENTIRE KITCHEN: The loofah plant fibres have a perfect scrubbing quality. That’s why our eco sponges are soft enough not to scratch your dishes, cookware or coutertops and tough enough to remove all dirt and grease.
💚 SAFER THAN SYNTHETIC ONES: eplanita’s natural sponges are plant based therefore they don’t leave any microplastic residue like some other sponges.
💚 PRACTICAL: Our eco sponges foam well so you can use less washing up liquid or soap and become a bit more “greener”.

Love these eco friendly sponges!
After trying the sample they generously include in their (also fabulous) bamboo/natural bristle veggie scrubber (which I also use for dishes) I fell in love with this sponge. The loofah is softened, not hard like the whole loofahs one usually sees, making it easy to use. Itâs scrubby enough to get most caked-on gook but safe for nonstick, plastic, and ceramic surfaces. Itâs very absorbent, even better than most plastic/based sponges as mine didnât leave any droplets behind, so you can use it for spills and wiping up counters, too. Havenât had it long enough to comment on durability or smells. Even so, I think itâs a great value for an effective all around sponge that wonât add to the plastic crisis.

Great quality and can be used for an assortment of things
When I first opened the package I was shocked at how thin, stiff, and rough they were. I knew that the sponge would expand when it made contact with water, but I didn’t expect it to expand 2x its original size. Not only, did it expand but the roughness also subsided. Also it lathers well too. Even though it is listed as a dish sponge, I think it would make a great shower loofah too. A pack of six is a great deal for the price, especially with all the natural material it is made with and how eco-friendly it is!ONLY criticism of it is that the sponge is not as flexible as other dish sponges, but it still works well!Overall, I really like this product and I can see myself purchasing another set in the future! 🙂

Good natural alternative
I was not sure at first if I loved these sponges, but as I have used them, they have grown on me.Positives: Very well made, sized, and handy. Especially good for plates and pans. They do not ever seem to smell bad like regular sponges, probably because they dry so quickly. They suds up nicely with soap once softened. You receive enough in the order so you can throw dirty ones in the washer and dryer.Negatives: Sometimes they do not completely clean in the washer as food can get stuck in the fibers. Has not been a big problem as I make sure to rinse them a bit better first. Also, they can be too stiff for cleaning glasses and cups easily. But once they soften up in the dish water, they work fine there too. I suspect they will last a very long time. I grew loofah about 15 years ago and made my own scrubbers. I still have one.

They are awesome!
These are the BEST natural dish washing sponges! I hand wash my dishes…because I don’t have a dish washer..where are you my tall dark and awesome?! ha.. in all seriousness I do not have a dish washer. I would agree that they don’t last quite as long as some but, I think 2-3 months of use is pretty good. This is a years supply for $10. I will try and make some time and add a picture eventually.Have full doing your dishes!!! 🙂

Cleans well but will need to buy more later…
This is a decent product. I see why they give you like 6 of them in a pack and offer to buy more later. They just individually wonât last that long, but I like the absorbency and it seems to be a fairly clean reusable sponge, until it absorbs too much dirt maybe after a week or so.

Earth friendly
Love these luffa gourd ‘sponges’. Two pieces of loofah have been stitched together to create a thicker sponge. It also has a cotton rope to hang for drying (though I cut it off as I don’t like it). I use mine primarily in the kitchen, but these can be used in the bath as well. Sponges are generally germ breeding grounds due to the moisture retention in synthetic sponges, but the natural sponges tend to dry faster. I also like that around 2-3 weeks, the sponges begin to wear down and I know it’s time to get a new one. It can easily be composted if that’s your thing or disposed of in the trash as it is totally biodegradable. I’ve used them in the base of flowerpots to keep soil from escaping the drain holes.

Still happy after using for a month
I’ve used this product for a month which is the stated amount of time that the sponge should last, and I’ve been very happy with it. It started off very stiff, but became soft after a couple of weeks of use. It did start to smell a couple of time, but I poured boiling water over it and that solved the problem. For the most part food particles rinse out of the sponge easily. This sponge still has a lot of life left in it so I’ll use it for cleaning and get out a new one from the package for dishes.

Soft Flowers
Smells like flowers and as soft as a rag. Pointless and smelly.

Secondo me vale la pena considerando l’impatto ecologico.
