This is a totally new thing to me.. bikini area?
I purchased this and am a bit older and know very little about what people do to maintain their bikini area..this was not something you heard about 50 years ago. I read the directions many times, wondered if I should have bought some kind of shaver instead, which I did try that once years ago and the itching was incredible!Knowing this was tweezers I was nervous, but tried to convince myself, I have my eyebrows threaded, how much worse could it be. I felt like I had to wait almost a week or longer to have the privacy and time to myself to try this and was offered help by a family member. In the interim as I tend to have a good deal of anxiety I lost the directions on the information packet! With help I used this a couple days ago and was quite surprised that the pain was definitely tolerable, (nothing like I expected) and no soreness after ..I did apply some aloe vera gel to my bikini area.I called the company and spoke with a gentleman, who surprisingly made me feel comfortable discussing the issue ( I’m very old school) and he was so kind and offered to send me a manual I could download and print on my computer, which was absolutely the perfect thing I needed and enclosed a short text if I needed anything to feel free to contact the company.So my review is a 2 part review! I was quite surprised and felt very comfortable after using it for the first time. The product was easy to use and so much more gentle for me than I possibly imagined. The design makes it very comfortable to hold in your hand to use, and I felt it was very well made, it exceeded my expectations..I had thought about getting a shaver instead, but the one experience I had with the electric shaver left my bikini area very uncomfortable, itchy beyond belief! I definitely would recommend this product to others!The 2nd part of my review is to tell you of what I thought could be a very embarrassing experience, contacting the company directly and speaking to a gentleman about having lost the directions. This person was so kind, he handled the situation so professionally, and actually made me feel comfortable talking with him and offered to send me an email with a download attached so I could download the manual which was exactly what I needed and was handled so quickly and efficiently making things so simple.I would definitely say the customer service was better than I could possibly imagine, and would send thanks out to the company for having such compassionate, knowledgeable customer service available to work with me. The kindness I was shown was appreciated so very much!

Quick and painless
Iâve been using a Braun Epilator for years. Iâve owned several. All were electric..not battery operated. I wanted an electric plug in option because it takes some time to do a thorough job. All the Braun epilators are now only battery operated. This model- not a Braun but an Epilady – has 56 tweezers, a wide head, and plugs in . The epilation is painless and effective, and the unit is affordable. I like it , itâs what I wanted.

Returned this one (I am a long time epilator)
I bought this one to replace my previous corded Emjoi epilator. I have had two previous ones from that company and would have purchased another, but they currently do not appear to make a similar model. This Epilady looked promising, and I was hopeful it would work well as a cordless version.I enjoyed it was cordless and quieter, but felt I had to make way too many passes over the same area to remove the hair then with my previous model. I decided to return it an try another brand. I am wondering if the corded varieties are just more powerful than the rechargeable ones.For those of you new to using an epilator on your legs, you do become desensitized over time. It sometimes still stings on my quads, but barely bothers me knee down. If new, start on the sides of your calf. While I like doing it before a shower, the pores are more open afterwards and it is a little less painful. A dry leg works better than a moist leg.

Good epilator
It is good but does not hold up to the standards of the previous models. I have used this brand for years and was always pleased with the quality. This one just doesn’t hold up to those standards. It is good but not great. Misses some hairs so you have to repeat area.

Don’t waste your money
I bought this to replace an aging one I’ve had for years – and this one’s is worse than the old one I’ve got. (My old one is a wired one from Phillips and even on its last legs that one works a million times better than this one). I charged this one (charging was at least fast) and tried it – couldn’t get it to remove hair of any length with any kind of efficiency. The motor is slow and weak compared to the Phillips one I’m trying to replace. Definitely returning it & I’ll be going back to Phillips for a higher quality replacement. It’s slow as heck, but i wouldn’t even recommend this one to a masochist who wants to prolong the torture of hair removal since I can’t get it to remove hair well enough to be painful.
