Works Very Well
The brush does exactly what it promises to do. I have long hair, medium thickness with a slight wave that I feel is unattractive. (I like straight or curly). I spray on some heat protectant, and then rough dry my hair which takes only a couple of minutes. Afterwards, I use this brush and in about three minutes, I have perfectly smooth, straight hair. This brush is not made to curl hair, however, I have no problem getting my hair to curve under with this brush, as I don’t like stick straight hair on me. It has saved me a good 20-30 minutes that it would normally take me to dry my hair smooth with a blow dryer. The brush gets very hot, so I suggest you play around with temperature settings and use the lowest temp that works for you.

Works great on thick curly hair
I have thick curly hair and this was so easy to use and cut down the time it takes to straighten my hair. Only gave it 4 stars because it does take some time to heat up.

**UPDATE: 2/26/21 – Just bought a second one — first one is still perfect & works 100% the same as Day 1; I bought a second so one is always handy at home or at our vacation cottage! This is the shortcut to a sleek, straight look for my long, wavy hair! I’m amazed at how effective and fast it is to transform “beach hair” to “date night hair!” It’s a reliable and well-made appliance!This is the second heat straightening brush that I owned, and what an improvement: I can’t say enough good things about THIS ONE! It’s far superior to any other one I’ve tried. The design is unique in that the heated bristles are more like rigid fins than hairbrush bristles, which is VERY effective on smoothing and straightening my hair into sleek plaits. I have medium-fine, sort of wavy/sort of straight long hair, and if I don’t blow-dry it with a brush after washing or sleeping on it, it tends to look like a witchy mess. I usually wash it every third day and rely on dry shampoo for an in-between refresh, but I’m impatient about the time and effort it would usually take to get “date night” sleek hair using a standard flat iron (or my old $25 straightening brush from Sally Beauty) on a daily basis. This brush has changed my routine 100% because it’s so FAST! I’ve attached three photos, all taken after I’d spent the day after sitting on the beach in windy, humid, ocean air — and the “frizz effect” was in full bloom. These pics were taken within minutes of each other when I went indoors to style my hair: “The Before”, Then “3 minutes in and one side done”, and “The After” — The whole process only took me about seven or eight minutes from beginning to end, including the time it took to heat the brush up to 410°, which is almost instant. The first day that I used the brush, I had an appointment with my hair stylist for a touchup on my highlights, and she was raving about how smooth and sleek my long hair looked. She’s been taking care of my hair for several years and knows how I normally arrive to the salon so her compliment was genuine — she even asked for the details on my new MiroPure Straightening Brush so she could refer it to her other clients. The bottom line is that this is a well-constructed appliance that does exactly what it promises, and I couldn’t be happier with it… Worth every penny!! (Just to clarify, I give it three stars on drying power because that’s not what it supposed to do. There is no airflow — I did use it on slightly damp but mostly dry hair once and the heat was enough to remove the remaining moisture underneath and around my neck, but I wouldn’t rely on it for transitioning from wet hair, use a blowdryer first.)

One of the best purchases I ever made! So simple to use and love the results. I just started to flat iron my hair a few months ago. My hair texture is kinky/coily. Have you ever tried to flat iron your hair and use the comb to chase your section at the same time? My kinky/coily sistas know what I’m talking about. Unfortunately I’m not that coordinated. No need for that, this iron, does it for you!!!! Chases, detangles and straightens all at the same time. If your thinking about making this purchase, just do it. You won’t be disappointed. I did some research on line and decided to buy it. Lucky for me, it was one of amazon’s deals of the day, I got what I wanted and saved a few bucks at the same time! Can’t go wrong right? and Thank God I didn’t! I told all my friends who are natural and struggling to straighten their hair to look half descent without going to the hairdresser to purchase this product. All I can say is it worked for me and I am happy with my purchase and I hope it will work for you too.

I got this product seeing the features section that it would work between 110v to 220v. But when I saw the product manual this works only at 120v..now I need 2 invest in a good voltage converter or I could have just purchased something that would work in India.. Please do not mislead.
