Weird, but truly wonderful!
Okay, it’s green goo in a little green bucket; you flip up the lid and scoop it out. For presentation, it’s weird to have something so effective come in the same delivery system as putty or cottage cheese. The thing is, it’s a great product that offers hold without turning to an acrylic crunch and is completely non-drying to the hair itself (also no olive oil smell, if you’re wondering about that). I think this is the most non-drying gel I’ve ever used; it’s impressive. So … let it be weird and take advantage of a great product.

Great for beginners
I used on my hair yesterday to do a half-up, half-down look and I have never used gel before but I think that I like this one. It kept my hair in place pretty well, but I like that it wasn’t hard to break my hair after taking it down (and I did put a fair amount on) and that it doesn’t make my hair look super shiny. It was a perfect way to hide my greasy hair while still making it look cute. Super great for casual, daily use, but if you’re a dancer or someone that wants super high-quality, strong gel then I don’t think that this is for you.The gel was also very easy to work with and wash out so, as a newbie to using gel, I was super happy about this!

Kept my hair in place for a couple days while we were out in the woods. I only had to touch up just a little from where I slept. Feels nice in the hair and doesnât make hair super stiff. Haven’t used this product too much since every time I did, my hair felt super dry and brittle after. Well…at least it does the job holding your hair in place. I think if you need it to do a specific style shoch requiresa strong gel, doing your edges, or to slick back flying hairs it’s a good product. But to style your whole hair with it, I personally would recommend using a different gel.

Over 20 YEARS and still going strong!
I love this hair gel! I’ve been using it for about 20 years now! I order it all the time. This is a product that is one of my favorite go to items for my hair. Very easy to use it saves my hair from flyways every single time. It says flake free but it will flake up in your hair with continuous use if you do not wash it out EVERYDAY. So, I co-wash my hair a lot and it works just fine. Never had any issues or problems with this product. I only wish that it was more organic. ð There’s a challenge on YouTube where people do eco styler hair gel vs. flaxseed Gel. Some ppl say you cannot tell the difference but I just don’t have the time to make my own hair gel right now, so this will do. It used to cost five dollars for an 80 ounce tub where i used to live but since moving to Hawaii, I haven’t been able to find it out here anywhere. So, I order it off of Amazon, even though it is way more expensive, sometimes I catch a good sell. Also, over the years, I have cut my hair numerous times, and because this hair gel helps your hair to retain moisture it also helps it grow faster! This is my biased opinion and mine alone. I can not speak for others. But this stuff has really helped my hair experience growth quicker than normal. I tell everyone I know about this hair gel. It is truly amazing. Also, I mix it with a little water. But it NEVER gets too hard in my hair. It’s perfect. The clear, original one works best for me. Below are all pics from this year of different hairdos I do often with my Eco styler hair gel only. MOST of the time, this is all I use in my hair. (Besides olive oil and trader joes tea tree tingle shampoo and conditioner… not much else touches my hair). This is the only gel I like for my hair and im glad I could buy it in a bigger size.A lot of others mentioned that the gel came broken. They seemed to have stepped up their packaging game because it was wrapped really securely! Also it arrived a week earlier than expected so that was great

Once I had ordered it, I looked at the reviews and they said that when it arrived it had spilt in the box, but that wasn’t the case for me! They product was perfectly wrapped and even came 2 days early! Would definitely recommend.
