Very Moisturizing
I am thrilled I tried this eye cream. It’s the one I reach for the most in my collection of eye creams. It’s very moisturizing and doesn’t irritate or cause redness. It sinks in quickly without leaving a surface film. Will purchase again and highly recommend!

The best for skin repair/ wound care
Every last drop is valuable and curative, from the French spring water, to the thick, creamy moisturizer. I had second degree burns and used the whole tube a friend gave me. I bought her a new tube as a thank you for giving me the best healing lotion.

Love it but it’s expensive. Got rid of my dermatitis. I’m subscribed.
The cost is kind of outrageous per oz. It’s about twice as much as other eye creams on Amazon in the same search. But it’s the best eye cream I’ve ever used. Now it all depends in what you expect from an eye cream. If you are looking for tightening this ain’t it. Probably not for dark circles or puffiness either. I just need something great at moisturizing that doesn’t cause irritation. Yes I’d love some help with aging skin but my skin is Sensitive and other eye creams caused irritation or just did nothing for me. I was having bouts of dermatitis on one of my eyelids. I didn’t know what was causing it. At the time I was using Cerave. Just a simple straightforward eye cream. The Cerave I was using I assume wasnt the cause of the dermatitis BUT it didnt help it AND it did nothing else for me. There was no effect, no brightening and it it just felt boring putting it on. But this Avene eye cream cured my dermatitis! It does have a temporary brightening effect that I like and it’s moisturizing. It’s never irritated my skin or eyes. And it feels nice! It just glides on so smoothly. It feels luxurious. It’s a great eye cream but is pricey! I also appreciate it coming in a tube. Eye creams in a tub isn’t sanitary. The amount is smaller than the average amount other brands sell but it truly does stretch. A very small amount does wonders. I use this twice a day on both lower and upper eye areas and one tube lasts me 3 months. My eyes have truly never been this well moisturized. Other creams literally did nothing or were too heavy and greasy. This is honest to goodness a wonderful formula.

Just what I needed
I was looking for a cooling, calming cream to use after eyebrow waxing. Most calming creams are not to be used around the eyes. This product is perfect. It works gently and is excellent for sensitive skin. It is expensive, but for me, it is worth it. The ingredients are pure and non-irritating. And it can be used all around the eye area. Very pleased with this purchase.

The only eye cream I can really recommend
At 67 I developed a sensitivity to many eye creams. Avene is the only one that soothed this sensitivity and has successfully kept eye wrinkles at bay for me. A huge plus is being able.to use it around the entire eye with no ill effects! I am a repeat customer!

High priced eye cream
I read a review saying this was a good cream for sensitive eyes, so I ordered it. I felt it was overpriced for the size of the tube and really did not find anything noteworthy about the cream other than it did not irritate my eyes. I think a similar product may be available for a lesser cost.

Very smooth and illuminating
***UPDATE*** I’ve changed my review to 5 stars. The problem wasn’t the eye cream, but my skin. I found another eye cream that was my best option, but still wasn’t excited about it. After some other face/skin issues I discovered other products from Avene. My under eye problem was eczema/extremely dry skin. I’m now using their Xeracalm as a base eye cream to handle the extreme dry skin. Then I use this Avene eye cream on top. My eyes look fresh, hydrated, and shiny. The dark circles are extemely minimized. As a test I went back to my old eye cream and while my eyes are hydrated (thanks to Xeracalm) they don’t shine and the dark circles appear more noticeable. So there’s something in the Avene eye cream that just illuminates the area and makes it appear brighter. I’m so glad (!!!) for my other skin issues so I could try this eye cream again. Now it’s my favorite!I got this because it was in an article saying how wonderful it was for dry, sensitive skin. It doesn’t make my eyes water (like others) and it’s smooth and creamy. It just doesn’t do anything special. I still have dry, flakey eyes after using concealer. It’s nice, but too expensive for just a basic cream.
