A Budget Friendly “Black Honey” Dupe
As a long-time user of Clinique’s iconic Black Honey Almost Lipstick, I was intrigued when I stumbled upon E.l.f.’s Hydrating Core Lip Shine in Ecstatic. At first glance, the two shades appear remarkably similar, and upon application, the resemblance is even more striking. However, it’s the price difference that truly caught my attention. While Black Honey can cost anywhere from $20 to $25, this E.l.f. gem is a fraction of the price, making it an incredibly affordable option. One of the standout features of the E.l.f. lip shine is its impressive hydration. The heart-shaped core delivers a burst of moisture, leaving my lips feeling soft, supple, and nourished, especially during the harsh winter months. In comparison, I’ve found Black Honey to be slightly less hydrating, particularly in drier climates. While both products offer a beautiful, universally flattering shade, E.l.f.’s formula provides a more sheer, buildable finish. This makes it versatile for various occasions, from a subtle daytime look to a more intense evening look.In conclusion, E.l.f.’s Hydrating Core Lip Shine in Ecstatic is a fantastic dupe for Clinique’s Black Honey. It offers comparable color payoff, superior hydration, and an unbeatable price point. If you’re a fan of the classic Black Honey shade, I highly recommend giving this E.l.f. product a try. Just be prepared to stock up, as it’s likely to fly off the shelves!

Love this tinted balm!
I found this great lip gloss while searching for Cliniqueâs Black Honey lip tint. I decided to try it based on price and the extra core of moisturizer. That was a great decision! I couldnât be happier with this product. It is a gorgeous berry shade that can be fairly subtle or it can be layered to become a richer color. And it has really good staying powerâ¦no need to reapply frequently. And itâs not sticky! I would definitely recommend giving this one a try. In my opinion this color would work for just about any complexion/skin tone.

This is even better than Clinique black honey – except the packaging
This isn’t just a dupe for black honey, I actually like it even better. Black honey is not very deep on my lips – I have light/medium skin but I feel like Clinique’s doesn’t give me that hyped 90s berry-brown lip look. Black honey just looks like a sheer reddish tint on me. This elf ecstasy balm actually shows up on my lips, and gives me exactly what I wanted from black honey. However the big thing that Clinique has going for it is the iconic sleek metal tube packaging. This is just typical cheapy peepy drugstore packaging. And user experience means a lot to me… so I keep both around.

Great moisture
These are so soft and very moisturizing. They donât ball up and it feels like a balm, not sticky or dry. I donât like lipstick and I just wanted a slight tint, these were great. Will purchase again.

Okâ¦..but
Well I wanted something small quick and easy to lube the lips for Vegas trip, and at first this seemed to be ok. I was not happy with the watermelon smell, it was not pleasant. The shine and color was good and lasted longer than most. The one thing that gave it 3 stars was the â stainâ that is left behind at the corners of my mouth. Thats the end of the game for me!! Bummer.

ELF lipstick
This is absolutely my favorite lipstick. I keep one of my purse and one of my make up bag in the house. Itâs very moisturizing and stays on. And at a great price.

Great Clinique black honey dupe
I have been wearing the Clinique one for a long time and prefer this color on my lips. It works really well with my lip balm because I have really chapped lips
