I have recently fell in love with the ELF products. And apparently so has everyone else 🙂 so it has been really hard to find some of their more popular products in store… This eye shadow is perfect for a more natural brownie smokey eye. They are so easy to apply and last longer than you would expect them to for the price. The pigmentation in these things are amazing, and if you happen to find one that isn’t quite applying like you would like, mist your brush a bit, and boom color!

Love these colors!
This is my favorite eyeshadow. I had trouble finding it in Wal-mart a few times, then I found it on Amazon and ordered several so I wouldn’t be without this. I use the second (from the top) eyeshadow all over my lids and the bottom shade at the corners, and I really love the way these colors go on and stay on all day! Even though I really only use two colors, the price of these palettes is well worth it.

I ran out of my usual shadow and found this ElF in Tantalizing Taupe. The colors arrived and for the inexpensive price I was surprised that I received three pretty large sets plus the base. It also includes a teeny, tiny useless mirror and a small applicator. The applicator is good enough to use for applying the colors.Pro: The three taupes all will blends together well.Cons: The three colors (excluding the base) are DARK and seem to have just a tiny hint of greyish green within it. The colors are too dark for my brown eyes. I will keep this pack but I’ll need another color or two to use on my lids. If I use the colors in this set, I get that dark-bruises looking ring around my lids and eyes. Not attractive. Maybe if you are skilled, you may be able to achieve a strong, smokey look around your eyes. Not a good look for me.Bottomline: I will keep searching for a taupes or nudes (or a mix) that has a little lighter colors with a darker color for the crease. Overall these are too dark for every day, natural look. Glad I didn’t spend a lot of money!

Great Product and price!
This is fantastic makeup. It doesn’t crease, and lasts all day. I like the colors too. I have peach/fair skin and it goes very well with my skin tones. It tells you exactly which colors to put wear on your eyes. I like that since I’m not a makeup artist. Great product and you can’t beat the price.

I was shocked at how much I liked this eye shadow quad. I purchased as an add-on item for $2 and wasn’t expecting much.The colors are nice, and the powder is soft an easy to apply. You can apply a light layer, or deepen the color based on your preference – a little can go a long way. The shadow stays on all day (even when I didn’t use a primer) and didn’t really crease.

Great for the price
My expectations were low considering the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The colors were pigmented and they blended fairly easily so even though I only bought it as cheap shadows to hold me over until I bought a much more expensive set, I can actually see myself buying more of these in different colors.

My new fall favorite!!! It could work for summer, too. I love how the colors go together so well. You can use this for a natural makeup look or a dramatic one depending on how much brown you use. I love to blend the brown into my lash line for a smoked out look. Amazing colors!!!!

I just got and tried the Golden Goddess palette, and I’m very pleased with the pigment in this one (see photos). All of the same is true of the above for Happy Hour, but with slightly more pigmentation. Great value for money!
