Since gaining weight from child-bearing, I needed something to control perspiration in my underboob area. This was the best aluminum free choice. It doesnât become filmy like another brand Iâve used so itâs easy to wash away. It has vitamins which help the skin rather than just sit on top of it. It smells really good the entire time itâs on, and I donât experience the unwanted sweat, but also donât feel dried out. Iâve had it for a few months now, so it lasts quite a while even with regular use. As long as one isnât loading it on with heavy swipes, they can too have it for a while and not need to spend more money unnecessarily, as this is a great lasting product.

Who designed this and did anyone even bother testing it, market or otherwise?The container is a total failure. The lid screws on, but if you don’t know that and go to pull it off like a normal deodorant cap, the bottom comes off. Then the bottom keeps coming off. So once you break that, prepare for the bottom to continue falling off – sometimes taking the main body with it.The scent is nice – no complaints there.The product itself seems to work – no complaints there.The SHAPE of the product is idiotic. ROUND TUBE, REALLY??? Your machines already do oval. Oval fits into nooks and crannies and slight spaces. An inch and a half ROUND, not so much.As for easy glide – nope. This thing is solid as a rock, like a new bar of dry soap. There is no glide. There is no application, and there is NO anti-chaffing magic.If you can’t get it ON your person, you won’t use it. If you don’t use it, it doesn’t work.Fix this.

Strong fragrance, lasts 24hrs at most
I was hoping for a more subtle fragrance, as I tend to be sensitive to strong smells. It’s not an unpleasant fragrance, and hasn’t triggered a headache yet, but the aroma is still uncomfortable to me.It goes on smoothly, feels dry to the touch, and works well enough for a day but not longer.

Weird gritty texture ??
Ok… this was a lovely concept. It smells fresh and light and claims to be free of all the nasty junk you don’t want on your body. I work in healthcare and often sweat or stand for long period of time and do a ton of walking. I was ready for a deodorant that can be put anywhere and work. It was good until about the third day. Then I noticed it was kind of scratchy going on. I realized that there were like small, gritty, particles in the stick. It literally feels like exfoliating on your bits when you apply it. Not totally comfortable. The stick is also very thick, dry and hard. You have to really press it to the skin for it to apply. When you do that…the little particles kind of scratch. Overall…I probably won’t buy again. I don’t recommend.

After 20 Years, I Finally Found A Non-Aluminum Deodorant That Works
For about 20 years now, I’ve been trying different natural deodorants, in the hopes of avoiding the aluminum and other chemicals in commercial deodorants. I’ve never found one that actually worked. Some I ended up throwing out because they were so useless. The one I’ve been using lately is the Arm & Hammer Naturals but I have not been happy with it.Decided to try this Dove one when it was on sale. And it actually works! In fact I put some on yesterday and it is still holding up well, I did not have to re-apply it. I’m impressed with its effectiveness.Two things about the Dove bother me though. For one, they are not transparent about the ingredients. Looks like I am going to have to dig around to find the full list. So there’s a mystery there. What if it is not as “natural” as they say?Secondly, it is not easy to apply. It does not soften up so that it can glide on, like most deodorants. Even when I drizzle some water on the top of the stick (which helps), it still feels dry going on. It’s like you are not sure it is even going on. However it is working so I am assuming that my underarms are being coated somehow, even if I cannot feel it.I do not mind so much that the stick is round, although I can see why some would complain about that.For now, I’m just happy to find something that actually works. Unfortunately I have a stash of Arm & Hammer Naturals and it looks like I may be giving those away at some point.
