A Clever Solution for Anal Fissure Pain
The key to significant pain relief is keeping the internal sphincter muscle in a relaxed state. The initial pain from an anal fissure can cause the internal sphincter muscle to tighten and spasm. This spasm will aggravate the fissure and cause extreme pain. This vicious cycle continues during and after a bowel movement, causing continuous pain and preventing the fissure from healing. A relaxed internal sphincter muscle will allow the stool to pass without aggravating the fissure.
DoseRite is designed to work with topical medications prescribed by your physician (Nifedipine, Diltiazem or Nitroglycerine). These medications are designed to relax the sphincter muscle, rather than heal the fissure. The best place for this to occur is within the anal canal where the tissue surrounding the internal sphincter muscle (anoderm) can absorb the medication most effectively.¹
Targeted Delivery of Medication
DoseRite provides an easy and painless way to apply your anal fissure medication within the anal canal. The slim application tip with side-slotted design delivers your medication directly to the anoderm where it can be absorbed by the internal sphincter muscle. The closed-end tip prevents medication delivery into the rectum, and the safety flange ensures that the tip is inserted to a safe depth. Using DoseRite three times per day maximizes sphincter relaxation to minimize pain and improving blood flow to the affected area.
Simple Accurate Medication Dosing
DoseRite incorporates a proprietary dosing system that includes dosing syringes and a dosing jar that allows for simple and accurate transfer of medication. This clever system allows you to apply an accurate single dosing every time for more consistent results and less wasted medication.
Note: Medication is not included in the dosing jar. Please see Instructions for Use on how to transfer medication into the dosing jar.

Effective
Great system if your pharmacy doesn’t already provide it. Got the pharmacist to provide medication in a large syringe which was easily emptied into the dosing bottle. Very easy to use. A little chore to clean, but hot water and perhaps a little rubbing alcohol do the trick. I found I would need to reuse the dosing syringes and they tended to stick after a couple of uses. Leaving water in the syringe after cleaning and re-flushing it before use fixed that issue.

Makes things easier and cleaner
Clean way to insert medication rectally. The only thing I donât love is that some medication stays inside tube which I feel is a waste of medication, otherwise, itâs great.

Worth It!
Applying meds can be a real pain in the buttocks (pun), so much so that it makes me crack up (pun #2).I was going back and forth on this one and Iâm so glad that I didnât sit (pun #3) on this any longer. Itâs absolutely with the money!I wish my dr had told me about these, it seems assinine (pun#4) to not suggest these at the very beginning. The quality is great, and I didnât have the use the jar at all since it comes with a replacement lid so you can screw the applicator onto the meds which saves a lot of trouble. It may seem expensive, butt (pun #5) just do it. Having a fissure is the absolute worst, this will make it that much easier to recover and so much less painful when applying meds.

More comfortable than the thicker longer ones the pharmacy gives you
Thinner smaller and more comfortable, then the applicators the pharmacist gives you. And you can use it with otc meds or natural remedies. This is just the applicator kit no medicine comes with it. Now if they would only make it so it could fit it on the standard tubes or have different size screw on parts to fit other tubes sizes so we could skip the syringe altogether. That would be great.

Wasteful
Neat idea but he waste a lot of product in the applicator. And the tube adapter does not work on all tubes which then creates an even bigger problem
Adam Nizami –
Must have product for fissure patients
Great product, its quality needs to be improved only after couple of times of usage. It starts leaking. Syringes should be made more rugged at top end does not tighten completely after 2 usages. May be the batch I got is very bad.

Worked for ony 2 weeks
At first the applicators worked well. We used them 3 times a day for anal fissure. We washed them in warm soapy water. Then after 2 weeks each applicator stopped working. The white handle pulled out of the black rubber tip inside the applicator. Once that started happening they would not stay attached and were unusable. We had no option to purchase applicators only, so had to purchase another kit. With shipping and tax we’ve spent $80 dollars for 2 kits. These are not covered by insurance, but without the applicators we were not getting the med inside far enough. I hope this second box lasts long enough and the anal fissure heals.

When you buy a medical product, advertised to reduce pain and help healing. You really donât want to wait almost 2 weeks for delivery.Good product, poor service
Stephen Haley –
Each syringe only lasted a week before plunger detached. They appeared to react with the rectalgesic. Cleaning with soap and water made no difference. Thought i had a bad batch but replacement was the same. They work but at over 100£ for 8 weeks they are expensive.
