Excellent Quality, Very Smooth Hair.
This is my first time using an Infared straightener. First of all, the item came packaged in a nice box with bubble wrap to protect the iron. It is a nice weight, not too light and feels smooth to the touch. The controls are located inside the bottom layer which is great because it means you cannot accidentally catch the buttons. It heats up INCREDIBLY fast. It has an excellent range of heat, I have very fine baby hair, so I have to be careful I don’t damage it. I always use a protector before using the iron. The results are the best I have ever had – very smooth, frizz free hair and it takes way less time than the traditional irons. I would highly recommend this product.

I did a lot of research and trial to find the right flat iron. My hair type is very baby fine and thin. This one is a perfect size and has lower temperature control than most, which is perfect for my fragile hair. I also love the design, with the buttons located where they won’t accidently get hit. And the handle does not pinch my hand like so many others did. Great product.

I love this! I have extremely thick, native american hair and it takes a lot to straighten it out. It was quick to get hot, didn’t pull my hair, and got the job done! Plus the infra-red helps keep the moisture instead of causing more damage!

You’re better off buying reputable brands
This was the 2nd Chinese branded straightener I’ve bought off Amazon and will be my last. The first brand stopped working after a year. I returned this just in the nick of time after realizing that it too probably won’t last. Here were my list of cons of why I returned it.- $53 feels overpriced for this product and its features.- The ‘floating’ plates don’t even touch each other at the end closest to the dials when closed.- The plates were also awfully close to the edge of the casing, making it hard to avoid burning myself.- The casing also got hot, making it hard to maneuver my hands to help me curl my hair.- Lack of memory to save your preferred temp.- Catches on my hair at the ridges of the ‘infrared lights’.- Doesn’t make my hair any smoother – my hot tools dryer brush does better than this product.Additionally, this straightener feels like it damages my hair more due to the ridges from the infrared lights because they are not flush with the plate. I had to be more careful to not press so hard on my hair because I was scared my hair would break but also had no patience when the lack of plate contact causes me to make multiple passes. In the end, my hair didn’t feel any smoother and felt like more of a hassle to straighten my hair so I returned it. The only hair straightener I’ve ever loved for my coarse 3A curly hair was my Sutra Seductress, but it broke more than 7 years ago.Overall I can’t recommend this product because I believe you can get more for the value elsewhere. I think it’s more reasonable for this product to be priced in the $20-30 range.

Honestly it works almost as well as my old professional $400 straightener. Straightens nicely, curls nicely and I like the fact that it doesnât get hot on the outside so you can actually squeeze it together, I also like the placement of the buttons they are on the inside so you donât have to worry about accidentally hitting the button. It has temperature buttons so you can choose how hot you want it over all very happy with my purchase.
