(Spice & Black Vanilla) I own Spice Bomb Extreme and this smells very close to it at a fraction of the price. Very impressed with the performance (6+ hours on me), I could easily smell it on my clothes the next day. Fall/winter scent, good for night out. The quality of the ingredients may not be as high as SBE, but close enough to make this a great buy.(Palo Santo) Not my thing. Blind buy. Strong, overwhelming opening. Potentially headache inducing. I heard this smelled of pickles. I couldn’t understand until the scent died down and then I caught a whiff of the ‘dill’ at the end. Not as prominent, but it’s definitely there. Reminds me more of the sour chemical smell used in the old time photography development that my dad used to tinker with. This doesn’t change the rating because performance at this cost can’t be beat. I smelled this on my skin 12+ hours later.(Blue Cedar & Cypress). Freshie. Linear. Lemon hits you immediately, followed by the cypress and cedar woodiness. This scent is so familiar to me. Pleasant and inoffensive. Great for warm/hot weather. Reminds me of Allure Homme Sport (?). Actually reminds me a many similar scents. Lasts for only a few hours, and then politely fades. Another great value for a well blended scent.

Not for blind buys
This scent is not for blind buys. This scent is highly regarded as a top-tier clone and some might say a better version to Spice Bomb Extreme. The first reaction after the initial spray was horrible with a strong whiff of pepper. However, after 10-15 mins the vanilla, wood, cinnamon, and and other ingredients came out and mixed beautifully. I would say that this is a good scent however you should understand that it might come across as too strong with pepper, so you might be initially surprised. Amazing for the price, just should be aware of the first couple of minutes of spray. Not an everyday scent more for dressed up occasions and of better use in the colder seasons.

Easy to Recommend, Easier to Attract Attention
I was very pleased with this version of Cremo Cologne for Men (Spice & Black Vanilla). Although palates and senses of smell can vary greatly, this is an outstanding choice for some basic reasons. This is definitely a warm, Oriental-inspired fragrance labeled for men, but it could arguably be labeled as unisex as well. I have roughly one hundred or so different men’s fragrances and cologne oils for reference.For those who’ve been around the block with men’s fragrances, this will likely conjure up a middling similarity to Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb and Versace’s Eros. Spice & Black Vanilla also shares some space with Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male Elixir. All are excellent choices in their own way, but seem related, sort of like first or second cousins. Spice & Black Vanilla falls on that spectrum between Spicebomb and Le Male Elixir, edging closer to Spicebomb. If anyone might have thought the Black Vanilla in this formulation is close to Mancera’s Black Vanilla, think again. Mancera’s interpretation of Black Vanilla contains more of a controlled fire that makes a clear play for dominance, whereas Spice & Black Vanilla plays a more reserved game but is more than capable of a swift checkmate. Cremo’s concoction also seems to flirt by employing a hint of neroli (bitter orange), but if so, blends it so well that it never goes past the flirtation stage.As a final recommendation, this is most certainly a cool/cold weather fragrance for autumn and winter. It also inspires romance or closeness so restrict its wear to late evening and nighttime activities. Sillage (projection) on this item is quite good so you can reasonably expect 4-6 hours of play, depending on your activity and body chemistry. Don’t be surprised though if it “sticks” to you or your clothing though. Some of the very best do just that, and mellow into something even better as the day or night moves on. There are many more colognes that cost hundreds more and would have a hard time competing to keep up with this one. This was a blind buy for me as I’ve used Cremo body wash products for men and wanted to try their hand in the cologne space. I do not regret this purchase in the least and I’ll definitely see what else Cremo has to offer in men’s colognes.

Good scent, I got it for my son who is into collecting colognes and I will see if he likes it come Christmas !
