A Staple..
I have worn this Covergirl lipstick for 10+ yrs. This is a great color because it gives you lip color without looking too over – done. It has a creamy texture, its not drying. I just turned 60 and I know better than to use a frosted or metallic type of lipstick, which can age you. I am caucasian with light to medium skin tone and with blonde and gray hair color. I hope this will help with deciding on a color for you. There are darker colors in this creamy formula if you need it. You do have to reapply after you eat, etc. It is not a lip stain.

I love Covergirl BUT… this was a mess when it came. I took the cap off and the lipstick stuck to the top so needless to say it’s going to be weak now. When I got it back in the tube and tried it, it went on like cottage cheese. If I had the packaging I would return it, but I threw it all away because I use a lot of Covergirl and loved it, but can’t recommend this one. WAIT…After using this for a couple weeks, yes it was a mess when it came but…I actually love the color and best of all it stays on after 2 cups of coffee! I’d buy it again.

I have used this brans of lipstick for several years and find the product excellent. The cost is great and competitive with other brands selling for much more. This particular color works well for me during daytime in Florida. It is soft, understated yet clearly visible.

Color dark for raspberry
Disappointed in Raspberry color. Too dark. Most raspberry lipsticks have a pink tone not brownish tone to them. The lipstick container was hard to open.

I was expecting a neutral matte lipstick. It’s actually darker with a shimmer (take note of the 3rd row of pics featured by the seller) and I absolutely LOVE IT! So much better than the first couple pics and is my new fave over Katy Perry’s Catoure which I also love but Catoure needs several back and forth strokes for good pigmentation, frequent reapplications and while its also a great product, this Coffee Crave just needs a swipe top and bottom and bam, you’re done for a good long while. It looks spectacular. The sparkly shimmer was an unexpected bonus and very flattering on me. As I’m nearing 50, I’m starting to note difficulties with product gathering into lip lines. This product does just a little bit but overall stays in place (including no transfer to my teeth!) which is noteworthy since it’s a very moisturizing product and I would have expected it to bleed significantly. With many lipsticks costing $8 and $9 or even more in stores, this one at $5.79 is fairly priced and I see many other colors even cheaper in the $3 and $4 range. Assuming they all have similar properties as this Coffee Crave in pigmentation, moisturization and length of wear, this is a bargain product.UPDATE: I purchased the “Succulent Cherry” too in hopes for a similar success to Coffee Crave. Yeah, not a fan. It’s a bit neon against my skin tone and requires heavy application for a good, even pigmentation. That being said, however, if you have a cool, pale skin, this would pop nicely on you.Love it. Probably going to buy out what the seller has left just in case this has been discontinued and look to see if there are any other colors I might like to try.
