MUCH Better Than Expected..
Being a retired movie makeup dude, I’m always interested in useful, cost-effective (cheap) over-the-counter products for the average person. And in my 30-year career, my first pick for most of this type of product has always been CoverGirl, consistently ‘guilty’ of decent coverage & longevity & reasonable pricing.At less than $5, this particular concealer hits the nail on the head.I’d never used this particular one before but I’ve used their copper-top Clean Invisible concealer for years -I think this will become my “new normal” for a while, at least.Btw, over the years (since my 20s) I’ve frequently been asked why a guy would use concealer -I’m not overtly gay or ‘queenie’ at all & while I AM gay, I’ve been pretty average & ‘normal’ appearing all my life -& never expected to end up as a successful [Emmy nominated] makeup artist, (tho’ I did intend to work in the TV/movies arena.. I just never specified which area. I was a film major in college & always figured on leaving the details to Fate, The Universe or, if one is a “Trumperâ, God..). Worked out very very well, haha!Anyway, with that basis in place, my response to the query above -why I used concealer from my early 20s on has always been the same (I was cute, but always tended towards circles under my eyes, lol..); there’s enough “ugly” in the world & if I know I can cheat the odds in the other direction a tad, I’ll do what I can!I think we all should..

Best concealer for the price Iâve ever used! .
This concealer has been around for years- probably over 40 – and thereâs for a reason- because it actually does work. Iâve tried so many concealers for under eyes and just on the face, from the least expensive to the most, and this is always my everyday go to. It gives the most bang for the buck to use on a daily basis. I would recommend to select a shade a little lighter for under the eyes, or if you would like to use this as a highlighter under the eyebrows top of the cheeks nose, etc. than your normal shade. If youâre trying to conceal on your face, and especially if youâre not going wear a top cover foundation, get the closet match to your skin color. Personally, I buy the fair for highlighter and also to use as a spot cover on my face, because I am more of an ivory and it blends and conceals – it really is invisible! If you are light to medium, Iâd still think you could use fair, especially as an under eye concealer. If you are a medium+, you might want to move up to medium- unless you want it for a real highlighter. Another tip, the famous makeup artist, Bobby Brown said, even if youâre a cool skin tone, always go for the warmer tones in a foundation because it makes your face come alive. I find that to be very true statement about Cover Girl Invisible Concealer as it does have a little more of a warm base that I think thatâs works so well. Of course, these are only my personal opinions and I wasnât paid anything, but Iâve just used this concealer so long that I wanted to share my experience because itâs really works and is so reasonably priced. I’m a guy and this product helps me out a lot
I’m a 54 year old male and take very good care of my skin – always have. I use a soap for sensitive skin and a moisturizer. For some reason over the past year my nose gets red and there are sometimes very minimal bumps. I have been told it is not acne, not blackheads and that it is just my regular skin tone. Very frustrating for this was never an issue my whole life up to now. Then I tried this CoverGirl invisible concealer. There is nothing like it available for men so to women’s cosmetics I went. This product simply and effectively has been taking care of the problem for over a year now. I put a small amount of moisturizer on my nose and then put two small dabs of the concealer on and just blend it into the skin of my nose. It miraculously makes the redness disappear without looking like I have makeup on my nose. It looks natural and blends in perfectly with the tone of the rest of my face. As the day goes on, even if I sweat a lot in the summer, it never runs off, and it actually seems to blend in even better as the day progresses. I only ever need to reapply it if I wash my face a second time with water in the early evening which makes sense. Then I just apply it the same way and it performs just as well the second time.I thought it important as a man to show this products versatility and also needed to share for me how perfectly it blends into my skin. A little goes a long way for effectiveness, my simple problem of a red nose is now gone and no one ever knows I am wearing concealer. Thanks CoverGirl for helping out this man. Highly recommend this product. Great stuff.

I like something with a little more coverage. The consistency is very thin and a little watery. It doesn’t have enough coverage for me. I’m not sure what kind of spots this would cover. I use it but I have to use it in layers which isn’t the look or feel I’m going for.
