Love this-Won’t Go Back to Mineral Powder Foundation
I ordered this foundation recently based on other reviews and I really like it. I used Covergirl products a lot in my youth but switched to mineral powder foundation in my 30s (thanks to those persuading infomercials) which I loved at the time (except the price). When I started to develop fine lines around my eyes I found the mineral powder foundation settled into them and made me look older. (I’m now mid 40s). This foundation provides a medium to full coverage (depending on amount used) which I like but still looks natural. It is very creamy, feels light, and does not settle into my fine lines. It doesn’t feel like I’m wearing makeup. I ordered two shades, soft honey and classic ivory (based on what was available on Amazon at the time) and blend the two to match my skin tone, which it does perfectly. I saw online that when trying to decide between a lighter or darker foundation to go with the darker one so I figured I could experiment with what works best for me. The classic ivory alone would be too light for my light to medium skin tone. The two blend perfectly with my skin tone and there are no “orange-ish” (aka oompa loompa) tones whatsoever. If you’re unsure about the shades, I recommend going to the Covergirl website, the shades displayed there seem to show the true color more than on Amazon. I also like the bottle, how it dispenses the product and being able to see how much is left. I use Covergirl Advanced Radiance pressed powder sparingly to set it. It lasts all day with maybe a light touch up with powder occasionally. It does not leave a makeup residue when using my phone, yet washes off easily. Will continue using this product.UPDATE: 9/17/2014 I just wanted to add to my 5 star review of this product. I just now opened a second bottle of this Covergirl foundation. I purchased my 1st bottle in April and to just now be on my second bottle, I am SO IMPRESSED that the product lasted me that long and I wear makeup every single day. I’m still on my 1st bottle of the darker foundation that I purchased at the same time (I mix with the lighter color). I bought my second bottle at Walmart as it was cheaper, but still what a great buy to have a product that delivers quality and value.

The color was darker than I imagined but that was an error in my judgement. I do like this brand so I kept it and just lightened it up by combining a lighter color. Easy to apply and provides moisture that is much needed on my face. Looks good, wears good with a pleasant smell. Smooth coverage- not sticky on the skin

It was new in package and securely taped in plastic bubble wrap to prevent leaking.I tried a tiny drop on the inside of my wrist and blended it in lightly.Super coverage. No detectable smell. No allergic reaction and I couldn’t detect lines or smearing.Very pleased with product and seller.

Prior spa owner that is getting older, but have a birthmark on my forehead nose, and around my cheeks at the nose. This is the creamiest without oil product that I could find.Even though I am 57 years old, I tend to still break out from sugar products and oily products touching my skin so I love this product. It gives a good smooth coverage and as long as they continue to sell it at this particular store, I will be subscribing and keeping it coming in. With a birthmark on my face naturally I use this product before I even leave the house in some days, I have a redder face then other days so I wear it around the house in front of family because I donât want them to be so concerned.As Iâve got older, I think the red has gotten more red due to the sensitivity, but either case I love this and it works, and it doesnât irritate my skin and to apply it is very silky.

This foundation is not for me. It is good quality and feels light to the skin. With my skin.. I need a thicker foundation..just wasnât enough coverage for me. Doesnât mean it would be that way for everyone.. just wasnât for me.

I loved the packaging, but man, the scent is just amazing. The coverage is great, and you can blend it easily with just a bit of product. I picked the wrong shade, but it ended up working for my sister and mom, and they loved it too. Iâll be buying the correct color for myself.
