I have been coloring my hair with box dye for 30 years. I went to a dark brown 2 years ago and have tried to get it to go light again. I would even leave the color in for over an hour but it wouldn’t lighten. Recently got a hair cut as the woman noticed my roots lighter and explained I needed to strip the old build up of color out of it or it will never lighten. The charge for her to do it would of been over $140 so I decided to try this. I am very happy with the results. I used a plastic bottle put 2 oz of each bottle into it shook it up and applied all over rubbing it in. Put suran wrap over my head then placed a shower cap and wrapped a warm towel and waited for 20 mins. Took a shower and used my dove body wash as shampoo for all I use if Pantene it says cheap shampoo on directions. I washed 4x and rinsed the 20 mins as suggested. I used the conditioner from a previous hair color box I had. Also liked it didn’t smell horrible. A little more red than I thought it would be but I plan to do it again in 2 days to see if the red will fade. Highly recommend.

I wanted to go from bright pink to Emerald green. Considering they are close to being opposites on the color wheel, I knew I couldn’t just put the green over the pink. I needed to remove as much pink as possible. I have hair slightly longer than my chin, not quite to my shoulders on the front/side. I was able to do 2 applications with this set. And I needed both! Here are my findings:1. Very Smelly. Use in a ventilated area and cover your hair with either a plastic bag or shower cap (not included). The scent lingers for at least 12 hours so make sure you give yourself enough time for the scent to dissapate if you’ll be going out of the house/around others.2. Use on clean, unconditioned hair3. Use a bottle instead of a bowl and brush. It is a thin consistency and a bowl would make it more difficult.4. Follow the instructions regarding rinsing. It seemed exorbitant but it worked. I rinsed for 10 mins, then shampooed twice then rinsed again for 10 mins. I did this with both applications. By the time I was done rinsing in my second application, my hair definitely felt dry so I used a masque, and rinsed after 3 or so minutes.5. I don’t use colors that require developer so I wasn’t worried about the developer test. Honestly, I didn’t even bother with it. I would imagine if the color you are removing required developer, you’ll definitely want to do this step. 10 vol developer is not included.6. I bleached my roots the next day and applied my base green. No counter effects from using the color remover. I applied a shadow root color the following day.You’ll want to be patient. This process takes some time, but it is less harsh than rebleaching when you’re changing colors. My hair actually feels pretty good. I have included several pictures. I have Dyed my hair jet black for years. I decided I wanted to go dark red – so I need to pull the black out.cons: bad smell, dry hair after use, box only has the chemicals, no applicator bottle or head cap or gloves.pros: it worked. my hair after 2 applications is medium red, ready to be Dyed the color I want.I mixed half of each bottle for application one. applied, wrapped my head in plastic wrap. 20 minutes. rinsed for a while, I don’t know how long. washed (moisturizing shampoo), rinsed, washed, rinse rinse rinse. dried my hair. did it again. did not do the developer bit in between. after the second go, I put a deep conditioner mask in my hair, wrapped it in plastic wrap and put a bonnet on. kept that on for a few hours. rinsed out and my hair is soft and the color is a medium red. I will give it a few days before I dye it – I know it says you can do it same day but I think it’s safer to let my hair calm down and get washed another time or two before I dye it.

Ich verstehe die negativen Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht! 😅 Ich habe das Produkt heute ausprobiert und bin absolut begeistert. Vorher waren meine Haare durch eine Farbkur orange, und ich wollte unbedingt wieder zurück zu meinem Blond. Also habe ich die zwei Komponenten gemischt, und es ging sofort los. Das Auftragen war super einfach, und ich habe es 30 Minuten einwirken lassen. Danach habe ich es wie gewohnt ausgewaschen – ja, der Geruch ist nicht gerade angenehm, aber das Ergebnis ist dafür umso besser!Meine Haare sind wieder strahlend hellblond, genau wie ich es mir gewünscht habe. Ich bin so froh, dass ich mich für dieses Produkt entschieden habe. Zum Haare entfärben würde ich es jederzeit wieder kaufen. Absolute Empfehlung! 👍🏽
