I wanted to love this and I was starting to. The pros: this little straightener has a solid quality comfortable feel in my hand. It is an attractive unit (really pretty black and rose gold) with nicely lit indicators for temperature and on/off controls. It has a sleek slide on/off cover that closes the clamps when over them. Plus it comes with a nice velvet bag to slide the straightener into for storage. The size of this straightener is perfect. Although it is an amazing convenience for travel, I am using it once a day at home. I am basically using it for last minute touch ups and not heavy usage at all. Because of that small amount of usage, here is where my con comes inâ¦.Unfortunately, after 3 small amounts of usageâ¦(today would have been my 4th) it went dead and needs to be recharged. I had it on the middle temp setting and like I said, I wasnât even doing my whole head of hair. I was gliding over last minute sections of hair to finish off my style. Considering the initial impressive quality of this straightener and its price point, I expected the charge to be far better.

This mini cordless straightener arrived quickly and well packaged. The product packaging box isnât exactly the best as it doesnât have clear labeling but the straightener did arrive in tact with a USB-C charging cord and storage bag included. The straightener heats up to temp in 45 seconds or less, and has three temps to choose from. The temps are listed in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit and the following conversions are; 170° C = 338 °F, 190° C = 374 °F, 210 °C = 410 °F. It can run up to 30-45 minutes on a single charge, which should be sufficient for styling most hair lengths and textures depending on the heat setting used, and it takes up to 3 hours to fully charge. The straightener is small, lightweight, and easy to maneuver especially without having to fight with cords. It does have a cap that goes over the ends to protect the plates. The plates are a floating design that minimize breakage and damage to your hair. It does do a great job of straightening and curling various hair types with ease. The price point is affordable when compared to other similar products on the market. Overall, this is an attractive and lightweight cordless flat iron that can be used to completely style your hair or for touch ups when on the go with the ultimate portability on a budget. Would recommend.

I think this is brilliant. USB-chargeable (and comes with a cord), it is truly portable. It actually came out of the box fully charged.It took me a second to figure out that it has a cover which needs to come off –I had thought that there was just a locking mechanism that I was missing. The instructions that come with it are printed way too small for the human eye, so I had to go to this product page to understand how to open and turn on.I do wish the box labelled in larger letters what is in the box. Yu can easily miss the words “Hair straightener.” When it was delivered, I wasn’t sure what I was looking at and had to go back to check my orders. Even the instruction booklet’s cover only says Product User Manual without saying what the product is. So if you want to give this as a gift, you may want to attach a card which says what it is you are giving!Normally, I’d take a star off for all of that since packaging matters, but I just like this flat iron so much, I won’t. The plates heat quickly and are narrow enough that I can use this for curling my hair. The cover can go on immediately after you stop using it — you don’t have to wait until the plates cool down.I will say that it is a good idea to pay attention to how you hold it when you use it — I accidentally changed the temperature setting while using by touching the button inadvertently. I’ll chalk that up to user error.It striaghtened where I wanted to straighten and curled where I wanted to curl. Heats pretty quickly too.It comes with a drawstring bag, but if you don’t need to take the cord with you, you can skip using the bag. Just charge it up and throw in your bag. Super convenient.
