Works longer than anything else
I have been using this for decades. It is relatively thin so spreads easily. I put this on before getting dressed in the morning and it lasts me all day. Even though this is only rated at 8 I never get a sunburn. Every time I use any other brand of sunscreen or strength (15-70 SPF) I end up getting burnt. I have used it all day on a sailboat, at a water park, on the beach. It is amazing. I wish it was still carried locally. Amazon seems to be the only place I can now find it.

I bought this for when I won’t be outside long or the UV is below 8 because it takes a lot for me to burn with my skin. I love being out in the sun though and it’s inevitable that I will tan easily, but this helps that beautiful tan glow. If you have light skin, please pair this with another sunscreen on top or only go out for a short amount of time. There are multiple ways people “calculate” SPF protection to time, some say time it protects = spf x time it takes you to burn without sunscreen, so most people start burning (whether you know it or not) in 12-15 minutes in UV 8+, so this sunscreen would technically help you 8 x that so 1.5h but this is not actually true, because the amount of UV rays that reach you and how much sunscreen you apply matters and most people don’t apply enough. I prefer the calculation of spf x time it takes to burn / by the UV index that day. so for me, I barely burn but on a UV 10 day I could start to burn in about 45-60min, so lets say 8(SPF)x45(mins it takes me to burn) / 10 (UV index) = 36mins of protection, which I would say is about right for this sunscreen.I hope this helps.
