Works great
I bought one of these years ago. When I lost it, I was happy they still make the exact same one. Second one is as good as the first. Be careful if you keep it in a travel bag. You might be digging around looking for your headphones and accidentally turn it on. When your traveling with your boss and he hears the random buzzing, itâs awkward to say âhey that was my electric razorâ. Then you think itâs better just to pretend that didnât happen. Then you think âhey, Iâm a progressive woman and donât have to explain myselfâ. But you also think ânow he thinks I canât go on a quick overnight trip without my industrial power vibrator in my carry on bagâ or worse, that I did it on purpose. Then I know Iâm overthinking, but still canât find my headphones. But that is not pertinent to the review, and ive learned to take the batteries out if Iâm traveling. NBD.

Works almost as good as a regular razor
First off, it does not come with batteries as it stated it did. It takes 2aaa batteries.Secondly, the box it came in was crushed.I’ve only tried it “dry”, and in all honesty it’s a bit painful. It actually stings as you’re shaving, and after. But, surprisingly after applying some cocoa butter on my legs after shaving them they were quite smooth. They look and feel like I shaved them in the shower with a nice sharp razor and shaving gel. I will never use it wet, as it has batteries and I’m pretty sure that getting it wet- if any water gets in the battery compartment it’ll get ruined. I’m going to keep this one in my RV, and use my sturdy handheld rechargeable razor in my home. Be careful that you don’t throw the little “cleaning brush ” away, as it’s tucked into the plastic under the razor. Also, I wish it came with a little bag or case. I guess I’ll keep it stored in it’s crushed box. All in all- Painful, but the results are good.

I was so excited to see this! It looks the same as one that I had and replaced over and over as it would wear out for decades until I couldn’t find it one time. It’s even the same brand. But they changed it! I should have known when I opened it and realized it didn’t have the charging port anymore that changes had been made. I figured, that’s no big deal the razor will work the same. NOPE! LIES! THIS SUCKS! Please bring back the old version. How does that expression go? “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”

I have used several iterations of this razor and have been pretty happy. Most of them do a good job for an electric razor.This piece of actual garbage though? Nope. Do not buy. It literally does not shave, at all. I gave it a slow, steady buzz on my legs (which I don’t shave terribly often as my hair is fine and not super visible). I am being serious when I say, it did nothing. Literally, not a single hair was cut. I went back and forth up and down a couple times, and NOTHING. Well, I shouldn’t say that- the pop up trimmer blade scratched the crap out of my skin, and no it was not popped up. I am sadly outside of the return period, but I wouldn’t buy this with someone else’s money. I didn’t bother to try it anywhere else on my body- what’s the point? If it doesn’t shave fine hair, it’s sure as heck not getting through anything more coarse.

Purchased for my daughter as her first razor as she was skeptical on using blades. Works quite well with some practice. Make sure not to press too hard so it glides easily. Wife tried it on her legs after shaving day previous with a blade razor and the result was smoother. Still using first set of batteries and no trouble with it yet.

I wanted a wet/dry shaver that was battery operated, not rechargeable, as I already have that.Most of the time I forget to grab the shaver prior to entering the shower. I then have to step out dripping wet to grab it from the charger. This shaver is battery operated and stays on the shower shelf. I was hesitant in ordering as I haven’t owned a ConAir shaver before, but the price was reasonable, so I took a chance. I really like this shaver, it works very well in the shower and shaves relatively close. Better than my $10, 12 year old Phillips which is still going but I stepped on the foil/screen and broke it. I am giving 4 stars as I dont know about it’s durability. Hopefully it will last several years.

I got this to replace my 15 year old Remington rechargeable. It worked okay but depending on how close a shave I needed, sometimes I had to use a razor and it was never recharged when I needed it.I now see that shaver technology has come a long way. This shaver is ALMOST like a razor. Especially if you go over it a couple times. Shaves very close. Not exactly like a razor of course but very close!I love that I no longer have to wait around for my shaver to recharge. No power, just plop a couple batteries in there or if you can remember to have some rechargeable AA’s ready to go even better. I just use regular batteries as the batteries last quite a long time.Comes with a little brush for easy cleaning. The top has a little plastic cover for the edges also.I will say though if your hair is a little bit long it tends to pull it a bit if you use the little edge comb but not a big deal.
