Great alternative to spending $100âs of at a salon for highlights
Iâve been highlighting my hair with this product for years now. It is so simple to use, just mix the product s together, use a brush to paint the highlights in, wait an hour, rinse w/ conditioning cream and done. It is really error friendly. Too little or too much in one brush stroke and it isnât really noticeable. I use it about once every month or so. It works so well that there is no way that so would ever consider spending hundreds of dollars for a professional to do the same thing. The only problem I have with it is that it isnât not easy to reach the back of my head. Still, pros far outweigh the cons.

Lifelong perfect color
Iâm in my 70s and have been using this product as far back as I remember. I obviously have lots of gray mixed in with my medium brown hair. I leave it on for exactly 26 Minutes and every time it comes out the perfect blonde!Probably saves me at least 600 a year at the salon.I do have short hair, so think about that as far as pulling it through the cap though.

This Stuff works save yourself 4 hours in a Salon!
I have used this stuff since 1986, and it is still working great.. I leave this on for 90 minutes, my hair is a level 3 to 4, dark brown. After one hour, I take a blow dryer and put some heat on it while it’s under the plastic processing cap. move it the dryer all around head and get it warmed up, it helps it process more quickly. That’s why salons put you under hair dryers. If your hair is Dark Brown, do that for like 5 or 10 minutes, in last 30 minutes of processing. If it comes out to bright give it a day or two, and a few washes it will tone down. Try a blue or purple conditionerI have gone to Salon after Salon, spent hundreds of dollars and never get the same results. I am always disappointed, and always so tired, because It takes sometimes, four hours! They also don’t do it great the first time, it’s so you have to come back sooner. I always ask if they can get the back underneath alot, so when I pull my hair up in ponytail it’s not black and 8 out of 10 times, they never get it. They know that’s what you want, so they don’t do it on purpose. I mean think about it why would you have to come back if they did all underneath. No, they make you suffer so you have to come back again and again and dish out the cash! They want you to become a regular, they are a business they need to suck that cash out of you. You will not get a great foil with the back covered like you want first time around nope! If you do you have hit the jackpot and found an honest salon! I have yet to ever found a single one, it’s been over 30yrs! Also, if you have super thick hair expect to pay a lot more it’s an excuse to upcharge and they take advantage of any excuse. I was born with thick hair it’s out of my control, but so sad to bad, it’s going to cost you more money.So, in conclusion, if you have patience you can get this color, you can be a blonde in the comfort of your own home you can. I suggest also a Dark Blonde for your Roots at the top of your head and sides but only if your hair is dark brown also.P.s. Don’t take it off to early, wait till it looks like itâs the color of the inside of the banana peel and if your ends are really light, don’t put the bleach on ends until the last 30 mins! My salon highlight now are priced at CDN $375 plus tip. After 23 years of lots of hair compliments on colour and cut, I decided to copy a friend who has been using this product for 10 years. Her highlights are always beautiful, so I assumed she was a salon customer. This product is easy to use. Take your time pulling hair through the holes in the cap. I took 45 minutes to an hour. Arms get a bit sore. For better results next time I will get a helper for 10 minutes to pull hair through the cap holes at the back of my head. I only used about half of the solution. Maybe next time I will only mix half of the solution to get 2 uses out of this package! Iâll get better at this, but for now my stats are 80% results at 4% of salon price!
