Love this product
Iâve been coloring my own hair for 30 years. If I canât get to the beauty supply store, then this is the brand that I use because the color, specifically this color, is beautiful and true to the picture. I have very thick hair that is chest length and it takes two boxes to cover it all. The price point is right on. Especially when you need to buy two boxes for hair like mine.

Nice vibrant color
I naturally have light brown hair that has previous color and highlights. This color looks different depending on the lighting, but on me it’s like a burgandy rasberry color. Even though this claims to be more natural, my scalp felt kind of itchy while the color was on but not so much that I felt I had to wash it out right away. My hair feels soft. I will be using this color line again. Next time I might try a different red shade. Once it fades I will use a color depositing conditioner.

Bold color
I really like red tones and find that when I first dye my hair, I love the color. Then it inevitably loses much of the red I liked when it was newly applied. This color was different in the sense that I did not like it at first. It was very vibrant and obviously a fake shade of red. I also rinsed pink colored water out of my hair for over a week. But then like magic, my hair looked great one day and the color was spot on. So give this product a shot but be ready to wait a couple weeks for the love to begin. Patience, grasshopper ð

Prepare to scrub your tub
I got dragon fuschia. Gorgeous color and actually showed up on my very dark brown hair. BUT stained the crap out of our tub/shower walls and took an hour of scrubbing to get the stain out. Iâve been dying my hair variants of red/ purple for more than 10 years and no dye has ever stained my tub like this one.

Bad ideas- Iâve many. One was to have fresh glossy nourished curls tinted violet today. ð¤¦ð»ð¬ðQuick review of a box hair dye thatâs allegedly gentle and designed for âtexturedâ naturally dark hair- âClairol Bolds Violet Passiflora V26â- âDONâT!!!âJust spare yourself tears and DONâT!! Iâm devastated!! This was a life-altering 30 minutes. Itâs a great smelling hair dye (and hair masque to use as half you hair falls out in your rinsing!!) Yes, I patch tested- no reaction. My hair was not previously dyed! My precious coiled snakelings!! Iâm not okay and Iâm still unsure if it even tinted my hair violet! Iâm air drying my poor remaining coils that are not coiling right at all. My remaining snakes are dead and half fled from the açaÃ, argon oil and guarana infused dye and conditioner! I pulled entire baby snakes off attached to the ends of my hair as I finger combed after the conditioning masque. Iâm not happy. Going back to Korean hair dye if this took at all (other than my actual hair) and fades to a probably hopefully dark auburn/reddish-brown I can cover with my boring natural black provided it grows back in!Iâve a K18 sample and am gonna try it next wash day though! It may be worth it to save my curl pattern and rebuild bonds in it.

I feel like my before and after photos tell it all!Iâve washed my hair 3 times since and I can tell some of the color is coming out so I need to get color shampoo and conditioner. But I love it and feel it looks a litt more natural than most but I know original hair color makes a difference as to how it will turn out

I have been trying to find my perfect burgundy shade for a few years now and this is it! This is hands down the best dye I have used in my hair. Most dyes dry out my ends and fade within 4 weeks to an ungodly auburn color. This dye fades to a gorgeous red in my hair and I can go 8-12wks between treatments easily. Absolutely love this product!

I am always on the hunt for a really black hair dye. This one was good color wise. I have used more vibrant blue black from other brands but I would repurchase this so 4 star for me.

Run don’t walk to buy this for my blue black loving people. I used two boxes of this to cover my previously RED dyed hair and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. It’s not often your hair turns out the colour on the box – the pictures are proof. My hair feels so soft and has so much volume. I hope they never discontinue this colour because I’m in love with it.
