The Chicago Comb Model 6 Carbon Fiber is a unique design with an elegantly curved shape and both fine and wide teeth. At 7 inches (17.8 cm) long, it’s the ideal comb for your everyday styling. Part of Chicago Comb’s acclaimed new lineup of American-made carbon fiber composite combs.
Model 6 is perfect for both men and women with virtually all hair types. The wide teeth are perfect for detangling, adding volume, and creating looser styles. The fine teeth are great for creating your hair part and shaping hair down into your unique style.
Made of a very high quality carbon fiber composite that’s ultra smooth, strong, and light. Carbon fiber is also naturally anti-static, unlike traditional plastic combs which can give you unpleasant “static shock.” It’s also heat- and chemical-resistant, unlike regular combs, and is far more durable. A truly professional-grade comb. Made in U.S.A.
Chicago Comb’s Carbon Fiber combs were first introduced on Kickstarter, where they were the most successful hair combs ever launched there. Buy with confidence, as Chicago Comb has been acclaimed by Allure, Monocle, Men’s Journal, GQ, and other top publications.

Incredible Comb
Durable, smooth in the hair, static free, and stupid easy to clean. If there’s such a thing as a perfect hair comb, this is it!

Finally – a comb that doesnât scratch my scalp.
Love this comb (I had bought a short one for my pocket). Itâs very comfortable and doesnât scratch my scalp. The material also doesnât generate static. Easy to wash, easy to use, and the material looks and feels durable. Iâve had a pocket one for a year and it stll looks new.

Incredible beard comb.
One of the best beard combs I’ve owned and I have purchased more than I’ll ever need.

Returned for one single reason (no shower hole)
Everything about it is great except one thing. It is sturdy, strong, doesn’t snag on my beard. But I wish all of Chicago’s combs had the holes that some of theirs have, so that I can hang it in the shower! Disappointing that this one doesn’t, as it’s pretty perfect for my beard length/thickness. That’s why I returned it.

My new favorite comb
After 15 years with a pair of cheap Goody combs, I finally bought some new, more expensive replacements. The Carbon Fiber #6 is my new favorite. It generates zero static, combs very smoothly, and is incredibly light. The comb has a unique sound compared to plastic. I’ve been surprised how much nicer it is than the cheap combs I’ve used for over a decade. For a larger comb that lives in my bathroom drawer, this is the one.The fine teeth appear to be about 1.5mm wide and the larger teeth are 3mm wide.I also bought a Chicago comb #1 in stainless steel, and I like it as well (it is certainly all the comb I need and more), but it is heavy and, while smooth, it does not have same magical feel as the #6. The metal comb “sings” a little more as it passes through the hair–some people like this, I prefer the quiet and sheer lightness of the #6. The Carbon Fiber composite material feels (and sounds) totally different from a typical plastic comb. I don’t think I would trust its durability in a pant’s pocket, but in a drawer or toiletry bag, it is excellent.I had never used an anti-static comb before, and (with dry hair) the difference is remarkable. Both my steel and carbon combs are smooth and static-free, while my old Goody comb and the Byrd pocket comb (pictured far right and far left) generate a lot of static. If you are spending $10-$15 on a comb and don’t intend to carry it in your pants’ pocket, then the #6 is my vote.

Klaudio –
Excellent well made comb. Smooth teeth with points that DONT scratch your scalp. Dirt and oil from scalp doesn’t collect as much on teeth and it’s easy to wash and clean. NOT made of crappy brittle plastic that breaks. Comb should last you a lifetime. If you found this product you are lucky.
