Best product for curly hair
Itâs a great smelling product, very thick and it costs the entire head. I use it for deep conditioning and difficult to manage curls. It does require a long rinse if you use a lot so a little goes a long way. This is great for courser hair types as well. My daughter hair easily bunches together over night and this has eliminated the morning hair routine stress.

Not just for my melanated sisters!
I am a caucasian redhead with very curly and very long hair (down to my butt). My hair has several zones that have different curl types, hair thickness and general hair thickness/density. I wash 1-3 times weekly depending on how much exercise and sweating has occurred. Washing is a huge time investment. Between brushing it out, washing, conditioning then putting in product and plopping it and putting it in a silk bonnet to dry is a several hour process. I purchased this without realizing that this is a product that my extra curly sisters use! I wish they had shared this secret 40y ago! It has changed my life! I wet my hair with warm water then work a small handful or this from scalp to ends wrap it up into a silk bonnet and leave it up for about an hour while getting some chores done. I then get the wash process started with brushing out my hair and getting all the knots out. Once this is done I rinse out the product and wash/condition as usual. Then I put my styling products in, plop it, bonnet it and let it dry quite a bit until I take the bonnet off and let it finish drying. I can easily brush the knots out of my hair with this product and run my fingers through it when itâs dry which I have never been able to do unless its super straightened professionally. It smells amazing but doesnât leave an overpowering scent. I donât note any residue but perhaps itâs because I use it in the beginning BEFORE washing. I LOVE this stuff. It makes my hair so much more manageable and touchable. It also doesnât seem to get as many snarls in it day to day. It also doesnât darken my red hair which is important to me. Again LOVE THIS STUFF! Thank you my melanated sisters who clued me into this product, silk bonnets and silk pillow cases! You all ROCK!

Great for Detangling! Leaves Hair Soft
This is a great product! I loveeeee Carol’s Daughter. I had yet to try this particular conditioner. Due to having a surgery, I could not shower/wash my hair for 2 weeks. My super curly hair was a knotted mess to say the least. This conditioner worked a miracle!! Detangled, smoothed out, and gave life back to my hair. I agree that the smell is loud lol. I, however, really like the scent. So it does not bother me. I love it. I think this is my new go-to!

Love this conditioner. It is a little heavy, not for everyday use if you have thinner hair but great for once a week. Very moisturizing and smells great! I think it works well. My hair type is very curly, mid back length. I agree with other reviews that it is very slippery in the tub. If you do not have a mat or grippy things on the tub floor be cautious. I almost fell in the tub the shower I took later that day.

If I could give this conditioner 20 stars I would! My mom recommended it for my daughter who is extremely tender headed and hates getting her hair done, especially when itâs time to wash it. She has long, thick and curly hair that constantly tangles. I use this right after shampooing my daughterâs hair. I section her hair and leave the conditioner in for about 10 minutes. Once I rinse and begin to comb out her hair, her hair feels moisturized, soft, and most of all⦠itâs SO MUCH EASIER to comb through! She doesnât cry anywhere near as much as she used to on wash day. If you need an exceptional detangling conditioner, this is it!!

This product really has no smell to it, which could be considered good. It’s clear and goes on to your hair well however it’s a bit heavy to me. I washed my hair with it the other night and the outcome after rinse was for me a little dry. So let’s see if it doesn’t dry my hair out. Other than this seems to be okay.
