The exact same as Stayfree!!! YaY!
I was bummed when Stayfree ceased to exist. I switched to Always – HATE those plastic-y things! I decided to try Carefree and they are EXACTLY like Stayfree!!! Cotton, not plastic (like Always). New brand, same product!!!

Brilliant marketing decision
I’ve been wondering for years why manufacturers insisted on having separate product lines for menstrual & urinary continence pads, especially after hearing about older women who resisted buying the latter when they needed it because of the stigma. As someone who does her mother’s grocery shopping, it’s certainly a bit nicer to walk around with these in my shopping cart than the brands obviously meant for leaks.The pads themselves have a pleasant scent like baby powder (HUGE improvement over the heavy floral smell from her old brand) and do a really good job of absorbing minor leaks. The main strip sticks really well to her underwear, but she has a hard time with the wings; for some reason, they tend to bunch up, come loose from her undies and get stuck to her skin instead.

They Seem Different
Ok, so I know Stayfree changed their name to Carefree, which is cool, I dig the new name. However, I am also more than positive the pads are slightly different. I can’t say they’re better or worse, but they are not the same. I preferred the feel and absorbency of the Stayfree pads. I wish I still had some to compare because I can’t pinpoint the difference. These are still my go-to out of any other pad brand which is why they still get 5 stars. I love that they absorb period blood and urine while still being thin, this combination is hard to find from any other brand.

Love Them
I love them. I use them for bladder issues. I’m 5’3 size 24 so the regulars are a little short for me. We’ll see how well the longs work this time. I read they were rebranded stayfree products so if you liked stayfree should like these too.
