Hated it, then loved it; apply lightly
I made a mistake on my first application: I used too much. I put the bottle up close to my wrist and gave it a couple of shots and that was too much. The concentrated scent didn’t smell like CK One and I hated it. I thought I had wasted ~$70 and was wondering if I should return it. Later that day, my wife told me I smelled nice so I thought I would try it again. This time, I applied it very lightly and could detect the signature CK One notes I was looking for, now I use it regularly.This is a parfum that rewards holding the bottle at arm’s length and giving yourself one, maybe two little spritzes. It takes very little to apply enough to wear all day. If you like CK One, you should like this as long as it’s applied carefully.

It had been awhile since I last had tried any product from the Calvin Klein line. When I say a while I’m talking about a good 20 years. I’m extremely happy and surprised that they have not changed anything. To the contrary, they have only gotten better and this CK ONE ESSENCE is a prime example of the high quality that CK strives to reach and surpasses. The fragrance is like a CK One, but with an extremely long life span. You can put it on your clothes, go wash them a week later and it will still smell like you just got home, unbelievable.It’s fresh, citrusy and clean. Every where I go I get compliments, especially from women. I don’t know if it has to do with my body chemistry also, but they absolutely love the way it smells on me. Then they can’t believe it’s CK One Essence. I have to literally ensure them that it is. So if you’re a man looking for a great, clean fragrance, this is it. I highly recommend it, you can’t go wrong for the price. To the contrary I’d recommend a bigger bottle if you can find it. 3.4 ounces won’t last long, lol. Highly recommended! âï¸

Calvin Klein CK One Essence Parfum Intense â Fresh Unisex Fragrance â With Notes of Italian Bergamot, Organic Green Tea & Australian Sandalwood is just ok smelling. Though advertised as unisex, it is more masculine leaning, in my opinion. The good news is it doesnât give me a headache the way some perfumes do. The bad news is that neither me nor my spouse care much for the fragrance.
