I recently ordered the **BS-MALL Travel Makeup Brushes** set, and I have to say, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a versatile and eco-friendly brush set. The **16-piece set** includes a variety of brushes, covering everything from foundation to eyeshadow and even contouring. Storage Case kind of looks like a large index card holder. The base where the brushes are stored is a kind of foam. The brush tops fit snug. Almost too snug. I couldn’t remove the little brushes without struggle. Finally, I just pulled the whole foam part out. The brush top storage is poorly designed bc the larger brush tops cannot sit in their slots. They’re too tall. If you try to set them in their slots, the lid cannot close without crushing your brush tops.The handle storage is also a little tricky. They are supposed to snap in but they don’t always want to cooperate.I do like the variety of brushes – the small ones in particular but they also seem awkward because of the “travel” “shared handle” design. They seem way too thick. I think it is because I am used to seeing the bristles pinched together with metal as opposed to sitting in plastic tubes.Some of the brush tops also look a little ragged even though they’re brand new. I can’t think why…maybe the shifting brush tops were crushing some bristles? (Note that the manufacturer must know the large brush tops cannot fit in their slots if you close the top because they come laid on their sides in the box)Overall, kind of disappointing. Feels a bit cheap and the idea is not executed well. I really love ingenious storage but this is so far from that. I would stick to the large brush tubes or the brush roll up canvases.

I love the fancy “B” on the top of the box. The color is darker than it looks on the screen. It’s a dark peach, maybe even a light peach brown color. The brush handles are a creamy light peach color.It wasn’t hard to screw the brushes into the handles. It was pretty intuitive to figure out which ones go with which. If you put the big brushes in the holes, the box won’t close. They felt fine. They weren’t the softest brushes I’ve had but they weren’t the hardest, either. They picked up my powder foundation okay. It felt like it took an extra brushing to get it one, though. I used another one for foundation and it was okay.I then tried washing them but it was a little harder to wash them on my bar of soap because the tips are dark. I just swiped them on my soap under running water until it looked clear. They dried fine.The quality is okay. There are some extra pieces of plastic on the edges of the brushes and handles (see photo). The bristles didn’t shed.These won’t be my regular brushes, but I think they’d work well as travel brushes if I had a special occasion I had to get ready for.
