Best yet
I have been upgrading Braun razors when they are ready to go to the great factory in the sky over the years, and this latest upgrade was from a Series 9 (2017 model) to this 9 Pro+. I’d been reluctant, because I thought it would be largely incremental. And it was really expensive for incremental upgrades. (When it came out, one regular reviewer called the price “obscene.” He wasn’t wrong.)I’m glad I finally did it. Not that I had much choice. The older one was showing some issues. It was time to let it go! But apart from fixing all the issues, this is easily the closest and smoothest electric shave I’ve ever gotten. It’s not perfect–no razor and certainly no electric razor meets that definition–but it is impressive. And the price came down to a point where I got the shaver, cleaning station, battery case package for $300. Still pretty pricey, but sealed the deal.With luck, I’m set for the next 6 or 7 years, at least.

Best Razor I have ever used! BUY IT NOW!
I have been a blade shaver for many years. I have tried electric razors a few times in the past but have never had success with them. I always purchased inexpensive electric razors and got what I paid for. This razor is expensive, but is well worth the price. Cleaning is a breeze and daily shaving probably takes three or four minutes. It does a wonderful job and I have never had a nick from it. It is a close shave! Highly recommend this razor, I only wish It was available 25 years ago and I had been smart enough to buy it then!

Love this shaver. Spouse doesn’t like shaving daily & this shaver will mow down his 5 day beard growth like a great hedge trimmer. I would buy this again. IT WORKS! He has not tried it using shave cream but loves having the ability to rinse it throughout the process of mowing down his beard! Love the cleaning unit & the rubber attachmnent that does bring up the whiskers.

Maybe the best foil shaver
I have a Series 9 I bought about six years ago and it’s still working great and I’ve replaced the cassette. I wanted to try this new iteration. Is it better than the regular Series 9? Hard to say. But it’s excellent. Baby butt smooth shaves if I stretch my skin. It’s a faster shave than the Philips, though any electric is faster than a regular razor, and it’s easy to clean with soap and water or the cleaning station. The charging case is brilliant. The trimmer works well. Is it worth the money? For me yes. Braun makes great shavers. This is really first rate. If you want a foil shaver, you can’t do better.

Best electric shaver I have ever used.
First time I used it I actually drew blood! I am 70 and had maybe 5 electric shavers. This is on a completely different level of closeness. Not as good as a blade but mighty fine!

I donât know why I never tried a Braun before, but always used a nurelco. I wish I would have changed decades ago. It gives the closest shave and is so gentle on the skin.

Didn’t shave my stubble no matter how light or hard I pushed(tried both as to see if it was a pressure thing). Brother worked.Had given it to my mom’s boyfriend and it just pulled his stubble.Not worth the money on my opinion.

Surprising shave
Well, I have never been surprised by a Braun shaver that does such an amazing job. I used it today to shave my head, and I was shocked to see that in one stroke, it cleaned up all the hair in that line. With other Braun shavers that I have, it used to take me about three times to get the same result.I highly recommend this shaver.

I started shaving regularly when I bought this machine because it makes shaving really quick, with FEWER cuts.It’s better than a cheaper foil shaver I have, but not better than a wet shave for my lean face and neck.I get smooth cheeks and jawline, but stubble remains on creases and my neck.This shaver is decent for everyday use, but I’ll have to wet-shave for those smooth face events.

I replaced my rotary shaver with some trepidation after 40 years, but have found this provides a closer shave, and more thorough. I travel less than I did formerly but the recharging travel case allows several weeks use if the cord is left behind, and the alcohol based cleaning system appears to do a much better job than the previous aqueous one, and is more likley to sterilise the foils and heads.
