Massive, But Surprisingly Good Results
After having kids, I have had some issues with the “predictability” of my hair on any given day. Sometimes, it’s wavy; other times, it’s curly. Most days, I don’t have a problem with just going with it, but sometimes, I want to know that it’s not going to be super crazy for an event or something. In the past, I’ve used traditional straighteners (which I didn’t love because of the hair damage), as well as heat brushes (which were better, but still not necessarily ideal). And I am unfortunately not skilled enough to just use a brush and hair dryer at the same time!This brush/dryer/straightener was a very interesting option to me because of the versatility. I liked that I could turn off the heat altogether if I decided to, and the idea of being able to choose whether or not to add the actual heated brush portion was appealing.Side note: I actually guffawed when I pulled this out of the box. It is massive. Like, seriously massive. I was questioning whether or not to even try it, but figured I had nothing to lose, so…After I took a shower, I towel-dried my hair (which usually means LOTS of frizz for me). I turned this on to the highest blow-dry setting, but left the heat brush portion off. For as massive as this brush is, I was kind of surprised by how easy it was to use. Yes, it’s kind of heavy, but if you use the weight and just let it glide through your hair, it’s not bad. It didn’t take very long, and my past-shoulder-length hair was left straight, smooth, and silky. My husband commented multiple times that it looked really nice.Will I be using this on a daily basis? No. Will it be a handy tool for times that I need a sure bet on my hair being manageable? Yes!

Does the job. Would recommend
I rarely use heat on my hair but in winter I blow dry to avoid sleeping with wet hair and such. Before this, I was old school. If I was going to blow out my hair to dry it, I would have the dryer in one hand and a paddle brush in the other. It’s nice that it’s all in one. It’s a bit heavy/big but I don’t mind the arm workout. Probably good for me. 💪 the barrel is a bit too big for me to get a blowout curl I would prefer but definitely good for a more straight look. it’s pretty quick. I’m able to dry my hair in no time and my hair actually retains a lot of water.

Unbeknownst to me she had already gotten one at our local grocer which has a seasonal niche isle and one was available.This review will be comparing the two…The other brush is a bit smaller but not by much and looking online at other similar brushes they all seem to look about the same and they typically have more flexible smaller cords. This brushes cord was noticeably thicker which gives a bit more confidence in safety. The brush is round like others but has a flat edge which gives a straightening ability which my wife absolutely loved over the other one from the grocer.Aside from those two advantages for this brush is where its advantage ends however due to the very non-intuitive buttons and functions. Both of us tried to intuitively turn this one and figure it out but it is just non-intuitive, requiring you to look at the instructions and even then it seems to have a mind of its own. During use my wife mentioned that on the lowest speed setting it kept blowing her hair away defeating the purpose of the brush altogether. I don’t know if we will keep this or eventually donate it once I am allowed to.
