Your Hair Will Thank You. And Pretty Soon
The manufacturer positions Biolage Hydra Source Shampoo as a product specifically designed for dry and brittle hair. Its primary goal is to restore and moisturize damaged hair, which is particularly relevant for those struggling with split ends and tangled strands.Nowadays, dryness of hair is very common because we often use blow dryers, curling irons, and straighteners, as well as subject our hair to chemical treatments, particularly during coloring. As a result, hair loses its vitality and natural moisture, becoming not only brittle but also thinner, with ends starting to splitâthough you likely know all of this already. One aspect of this issue is that it looks unkempt or less than presentable, but the other side is that your hair is simply unhealthy. This is where Biolage Hydra Source Shampoo comes into play, which, according to the manufacturer, does not contain parabens or other harsh ingredients. In theory, this means the shampoo should act gently. My experience using this shampoo was surprisingly positive. First of all, I want to note its light texture, which doesnât leave any feeling of greasiness or residue on the hair after use. You know how sometimes it feels like you havenât rinsed out the shampoo properly, and itâs still left in your hair? This shampoo lathers very well, making it easier to apply, and as you might have guessed, it also rinses out easily. After the first use, my hair felt softer and easier to detangle, which is especially important for those with not only dry but also long hair, like mine.Personally, I donât pay much attention to the scent of shampoos because once you leave the bathroom, no one can usually smell it. But if this is important to you, the scent is pleasant, not overwhelming, and somewhat natural. As for the repair of split ends, I canât say the results were immediate. No, unfortunately, thatâs not the case; I had to wait several weeks of using the shampoo. However, with regular use, I noticed significantly fewer split ends.In conclusion, this shampoo helped me address my problem, though of course, it’s not a medical treatment but rather a cosmetic solution.

Works really well – Asian hair with hair dye damage
I have some hair dye damage so Iâm very picky about my shampoo and only use an expensive one from Korea but this is just as good so far. Bc of the damage, my hair takes a while to dry so when I use a bad shampoo it takes forever to dry and makes my hair feel spongey. This one dries pretty quickly and makes my hair so shiny, soft, and even enhances my natural waves. Iâve tried a few other brands like Amika and another from Sephora (pink bottle I forget the name) but this one is way better than them at a fraction of the price.

Works on my Korean hair without making it feel oily and heavy
This shampoo smells amazing and more importantly is one of the few that actually work to smooth my hair. I have tried every known shampoo ever, trying to spend less money, but the cheap ones just aren’t as good. There are three that work for me the best are Redken’s AllSoft, and Pureology. I alternate between them. I hate spending so much money for shampoo, but its the rare case where name brand, expensive brands are the ones that seem to work best on my hair and both my daughters who both have very long hair. (The texture of our hair is similar, although one has curly hair and the other’s bone straight like mine.)The only thing I don’t like about this shampoo is the price.

It does not take much of the BiolageShampoo to get a really nice sudsy lather. My hair feels great & has some welcome body.

Great shampoo
I have always loved the Biolage products (they smell wonderful) and this shampoo was great. It seems to be helping moisturize my rather dry hair and reduce the looks of my split ends.

Good shampoo but not SLS free
The version of this shampoo that I last bought had no parabens, no dyes and no SLS but with the same aroma. The point of buying this was to get a chemical free shampoo with a great smell, but unfortunately this one has SLS. That is the only con for me, otherwise this is a shampoo that I always come back to.
