They definitely work
I’ll give these five stars because they definitely worked.I will say though that if you’re inexperienced with waxing (like me), and if you have ever had any issue with your skin being sensitive (also like me)… BE CAREFUL!I did a “test run” on my arm first and it went fine. Bit of swelling/redness, but nothing extraordinary.Then I randomly decided to do my face. It’s like I got these and suddenly noticed every little hair anywhere on my body.Anyways, did the same thing. Had a little swelling at first. Used the aftercare oil wipe. Went about my day.Nothing prepared me for all of the tiny red bumps that appeared 3 minutes later. Used a cold cloth to lay gently on the area thinking that would somehow help… Figured it would go away. It didn’t.It progressively got worse over the next few hours. Naturally I googled what was going on and saw horror stories, which prompted me to go to the walk in. Thankfully it didn’t seem weird to anyone that I was wearing a face mask there!Anyways, I wound up having an allergic reaction to something in them or the oil wipe, and my lower face was covered in hives. It finally went away completely (3 weeks later), thankfully with no visible scarring. Some were worse than others. Oddly enough, today is the day I got an email to review these.So they absolutely work. I really can’t say anything terrible about the actual product.Simply be cautious.

I have very fine peach fuzz on my face so I assumed this would be a quick and cheap way of removing it but this didnât work at all.

Easy alternative
I love these for a quick at home wax. They donât necessarily replace going to a professional but they are a cheap alternative. Iâve used them in all different areas (besides face) and they seem to do the best in the bikini.

Effective for Light Hair, Struggles with Coarse Hairs
I bought the Billie Wax Kit for use on my face, and my experience has been mixed. The wax strips are quite effective at removing peach fuzz, leaving my skin smooth and feeling freshly exfoliated. However, they fall short when it comes to thicker hairs, which are more prevalent as I age. The included post-wax serum wipes, although somewhat oddly scented, are useful for cleaning off any residual wax. I appreciate the two different sizes of strips provided, as they make targeting different facial areas more efficient. The application process itself is straightforward and involves minimal pain, which is a plus. Overall, while these strips are great for lighter hair, they might not meet your needs if you’re dealing with coarser growth.

It kinda worked, but mostly just tore my skin
I’m not new to waxing. I’ve had it done professionally many times, but only Naired at home, so I did my research before buying this kit. When I got it in the mail, I reviewed the instructions a bunch of times, watched videos, and did everything by the book. I waxed my bikini line, and the first strip immediately gave me these huge, raised blood blisters and a gnarly rash. I tried to use the strip again a bit lower but it didn’t even pull any hair out. It did remove hair with the first strip, but it was so painful there’s no way I’m going to be able to keep going. I’m just confused on how it could have gone SO wrong. I’ll have to stick with a wax salon from now on.

Shocked!
We all know that moment right before you rip a wax strip⦠I didnât have that feeling this time. After that first rip of the strip my mouth fell open in shock! It truly didnât hurt and it actually did the job. I didnât have to go back over the spot again like I do with other strip brands. I think this will be my main wax strip now!

I will be repurchasing these once I run out. Theyâre so easy to use since you donât have to warm up the wax or anything. Not painful at all when they are applied correctly!My only suggestions of improvement would be:1. Adding more post-wax wipes2. Putting extra âpaperâ on both ends of the wax strip, rather than just one
