Customers say
Customers find the foundation concealer provides good coverage that is buildable. They appreciate its natural look and even skin tone. Many customers find it a good product that lasts throughout the day without rubbing off or feeling thick. The foundation evens out their skin tone beautifully. However, some have mixed opinions on the weight and color match.

Absolutely my favorite makeup!
I have used this product for many years. Amazon price is a little better than ordering from the vendor directly ,or buying from a retailer like Ulta. Great quality. Wonderful texture. Great coverage. A little bit goes a long ways. Drys quickly. Color match is perfect. I do use a primer underneath which really enhances coverage. Highly recommend.

Best makeup
This is the best foundation I have found in a long time I have been using perbelle a while even though it was a little too heavy for my oily skin and then I started talking to my daughter about makeup and how we need to use non-toxic makeup on our skin so I went to Bare Minerals and when I saw the mat I decided to try it the one I ordered was the perfect color for me the Finish is so even tone and it controls the oils in my skin so my face doesn’t feel like sludge from being so oily it holds up really well even when it’s humid

lasting coverage, needs a little care in application
I’m in Tokyo – this year we’ve had incredible heat and humidity, enough so the country declared it an emergency and issued warnings to stay indoors and go to cooling centers. Some days with the heat index is was 103F and 98% humidity or higher – I say all of that to give an idea of the typical conditions I’ve been wearing this makeup in for july and august, a time of year I normally forgo makeup altogether, but being in my second trimester I’m also “enjoying” some skin changes and pigmentation issues (thanks, hormones) that left me feeling not my best in terms of going bare faced. This stuff was fantastic- coverage is build-able so I was able to go for sheer in areas where I wanted to be a little more ‘glow’ and build up a more opaque cover where I needed to. I almost put down “no” for easy to apply because it’s not necessarily “easy”. I consider a BB cream “easy” or a tinted sunscreen where you smear and go “easy” – this stuff (like most bareminerals I’ve ever dealt with) rewards a little more patience and care in the application, it is blendable but at least for me and my conditions in my apartment (AC running 24/7) I’ve found it sets pretty quickly, especially depending on what primer I do or do not use – so while it’s not the tap tap blend blend blend buff buff buff of the powders, you can’t just wipe this on and get a streak-free coverage, plus you know the sunscreen aspect of it, you’d want to make sure you got it on evenly regardless just to make sure you’re getting the spf evenly. That said once it’s on, it is on!! I use a clarisonic as part of my skin care post-cleanser and if I don’t use a cleaning oil or something like a cold cream first, I can definitely see staining on the bristles where bits of this makeup have survived foaming washes and my fingers. It’s never run or creased or smeared even if I’ve sweat during the day – depending on my primer and setting powder, you do get a natural glow (which sounds better than oily sweaty I hate summer sheen) but that’s on trend over here anyway. Recently it survived a dat trip to disney from rope drop to close and considering I didn’t touch up or reapply, I was really pleased to look as if I was still made up at the end of the day. That said I’ve had a hard time matching my skin – there’s no sephora in easy reach (that I’ve found) from where I currently live so my skin match is about 3 years and a childbirth old, plus no where to go sample this particular brand as I import it. Ordering by my old foundation number left me with something a lot more orange than I needed, going up and down the shade chart by one for a few orders got ridiculously expensive, but I finally landed on one that works well enough to keep me happy. That said I guess I have to offer some love to the packaging too – the bottle survived being shipped overseas and then dropped a few times by a three year old wanting to help mommy with her makeup 🙂 Also loving the pump bottle – I’ve been a cargo girl for years before I started having a hard time finding it and the pouch/pour design was fine for life before a little one, but now I can’t imagine the messes I’d be dealing with, but with the pump I’m more in control of how much comes out and even if dropped or tipped over – no mess.

Great coverage, but a little dry.
Great coverage that you can build. This is a pump btw. I typically buy the complexion rescue tinted moisturizer which is obviously a little less coverage and moisturizing. This foundation here applies well on my textured skin (I also use a beauty blender sponge to avoid unnecessary exfoliation with a brush). However, even after setting spray and prepping with my moisturizer before application, the foundation feels pretty dry on my face throughout the day. Stays on, but some cracking here and there. No “foundation smell” or smell of sunblock (SPF) either, which was a pleasant surprise. I definitely recommend, especially for those who don’t know where to start for a good foundation like me.

LOVE this Foundation!
I’ve been using Arbonne foundation for years and I love it, but it’s recently been hard to get. I was concerned it was being discontinued so I started searching for a new foundation. I’ve tried many brands and finally came across the Bare Minerals liquid matte foundation. I absolutely love this product even more than my Arbonne. It’s light weight and yet the coverage is amazing! It blends so well and has such a gorgeous finish. I do suggest using a primer first to smooth out any lines and wrinkles before applying any liquid foundation. This is my new go to and I highly recommend it!!

Itâs good but Iâve used better
1st pic- just this foundation, not blended2nd pic- foundation only and blended3rd pic- to show I have severe sunburnVideo- once all my makeup is completely doneI use a setting powder on top of my foundation so it doesnât look greasy, (itâs not the bare minerals powder, that wonât be delivered until tomorrow)I did all my makeup and I guess this foundation is ok, itâs not as good as I thought it would be..It shows pictures of women with red blotchy skin similar to the color of my sunburn and claims it will cover that.. it did cover it well, but Iâve bought foundation from Sephora for the same price that covered betterIt is greasy, you will want to let it halfway dry before you blend it or it will take it right off, immediately put your setting powder on before it completely dries so that it mixes together well but donât blend too hard because it will come off.Make sure you let it completely dry before adding anything else

This is an excellent foundation. I love it.

Natural looking foundation. Slides on well, evens out tone. Not for those who like a heavy look.

Iâve tried a LOT of foundations and this is hands down my fav! Itâs even better in my opinion than Mac Studio Fix and Estee Lauder Double Wear.I have combination skin (very oily around my T zone) and working in London means my skin comes up against it on a daily basis! This foundation lasts the day with minimal touch ups around my nose!Iâd say it medium coverage with one light application but canât be built up to full coverage and I think it works best with a beauty blender.I alternate between shades sateen and cool beige depending on how tanned my skin is.
