I have to have sulfate free hair and skin products and Aveeno products are generally OK. I cannot find my favorite conditioner, Peter Lamas Stop Hydrating Conditioner with Baobab Oil, anymore, but for one third the price, Aveeno, Fresh Greens Blend does a decent job keeping my hair from sticking up like a pocupine’s quills, does not make my hair smell like cotton candy or green apples, and imparts a decent amount of mositurizing magic to my scalp. It won’t stop my search for something better, but for now I am satisfied with it.

Doesnât work good for me
I read mixed reviews. Some were for the shampoo and some for the conditioner. I am writing about the CONDITIONER. I donât care for this product. I bought the brand because I like Aveeno lotion. I thought the conditioner sounded good and was a good price. The one I got smells like eucalyptus and not floral as some reviews mentioned. It feels thick and not creamy. Most conditioners I use have a silky smooth feel and leave my hair feeling silky and soft and moisturized. This did not. Itâs hard to work it into the hair. For lack of better description it seems to have a lot of drag. I seem to have to use a lot more product to get it worked into my hair and get the coverage I need. My hair doesnât feel soft or silky. In fact it seemed a lot drier and dead looking. I would not recommend. I have color treated hair which tends to be dry just in case you have similar. This product is not for me. I just colored my hair and used the after color conditioner that comes with the product and I noticed a remarkable improvement in my hairâs texture, silkiness, shine, and manageability. The Aveeno is going in the trash.

My hair smells and feels great. I was using a different brand for the âthickeningâ effect. My hair did feel fuller but it was getting knotted easily and didnât feel smooth. This conditioner (paired with the shampoo) left my hair feeling very smooth and fuller.

This conditioner works really really well. My hair feels soft and lush for days after using this (even with washing again). Never had anything very positive to say about conditioners but this is the first product Iâve used where thereâs a noticeable difference in my hair. Expensive but worth it.
