Multiple barrels and temperature settings in one wand
This hair curling wand is something I have been looking for for quite awhile. It comes with 2 barrels which saves me from using 2 different wands, all you have to do is change barrels from small to large. My hair is long and I just found this wand so easy to use and it holds the curl for a long time…it has 3 temperature setting which helps with different hair types. I’m taking it on vacation and know I’ll be so happy I bought this curling wand.

    very loose curls
If you don’t have long hair without layers pass on this curler. I have medium length hair with layers and it is very difficult to curl the shorter layers. My hair was consistently getting tangled and the barrel would catch other hair I wasn’t trying to curl. I will be returning.

Easier than my regular curling iron!
Let me start by saying that I was a little skeptical at first, because I had read some mixed reviews prior to my purchase. However, I am so glad that I decided to buy this curler! With my previous curler, it would take me about 1-2 hours to curler my hair, and by the time I finished, I’d be a hot mess with my head and face all sweaty.I’m not usually really good at styling my own hair because I was never really taught, but after reading the manual (I’ve seen others suggest videos from YT) I was able to quickly figure it out. I was so happy to see that it took me a little over 30 minutes to completely curl my hair and I didn’t end up as the hot, sweaty, and frustrated mess as I typically did before. The picture of my hair is what it looked like after using this curler, and it’s held up pretty good over the past 6 hours, for not putting any product in my hair. This was going to be a gift, but I wanted to test it out to make sure it really worked. So, now I’m going to have to get a second one because I love it so much!

    Electric Curling Iron?
An electric curling iron? One that does all the twisting itself? I had never heard of such a thing. Now I’m glad to have one. I was terrified to use the curling iron once I got it all set up and turned it on. (Read the Quick Guide to help you set things up if needed.) It was easy to align the heating element and the barrel. I used the larger barrel on my hair. For reference, my hair is about two inches below my shoulders, is naturally curly/wavy, is color-treated, and I have many layers cut into it. It really freaked me out to put my hair into moving parts – I did not want it to get tangled and have to be cut out or something else just as drastic. If that were going to happen, then trust me, it would have happened to me.My hair survived without tangling at all – and it looked fantastic after using the large barrel! Plus, the lack of needing to twist every section means this is great for someone with carpal tunnel. I waited until I heard the beeps at first, but because it took me a little time the beeps got off track and were just something unnecessary. They aren’t loud and obnoxious, thankfully. My hair looked really cute after using this. I didn’t have any issues with tangling or anything. The curls lasted all day – not sure if it was due to the curling iron or my hair spray, but my hair still looked good at night. That’s saying something! I have thick hair, and a lot of it. I was impressed this curling iron could handle it – and handle it well. This is an interesting concept that I like using better than my regular curling iron. I’m glad they offer the barrel in two sizes. Now, if only someone would invent a way to speed-dry your hair I would be really impressed!

    Great for Thin Hair
I have very thin and fine hair. While I love today’s wavy styles, I had all but given up and resigned my hairstyle to a straight look with a flat iron. Then I tried this iron. Yes, it was awkward at first trying to figure how to navigate it but once I did, I fell in love with it. Quick, easy waves (especially on fine hair) that came together in a matter of minutes. I did a little fluffing, gave it a quick spray with some lightweight hairspray, and was so pleased that I could finally pull off the look I’ve been wanting. It reminded me of that feeling you have when you walk out of your hair appointment, feeling like a million bucks. While this iron is a little pricey, it is worth the cost. I can only attest for how it works for my type of hair but if you have thin, straight hair, give it a try.

EZ to use after a few tries; if I am not careful, my baby-fine hair gets caught in the guards…
I have long, baby-fine hair that tangles very easily. I was a bit hesitant to try this automatic curling iron as I was concerned that my hair would end up getting hopelessly entangled in the prong-like outer guards. That does happen, but it isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I like that this unit comes with both a 1″ and 1.25″ barrel for more versatility. It is easy to switch the barrels as they just twist on or off the base. The curling iron heats up quickly but only offers three temperature settings and with my fragile hair, I choose the lowest one all of the time (330 degrees F). I chose this curling iron because of the statement that it saves time and there is no skill required. And I definitely don’t have any skill in creating hair styles. I keep it as simple as possible. It did take me a few tries to feel comfortable using this. I thought the fact that the direction of curling can be changed would really help make my curls look better, and it does. The resulting curls are really more like loose waves, but I think they look very nice. However, I don’t find that this curling iron really saves me all that much time + I am always being careful not to let small strands of hair wrap around the guards as well as the barrel. The timing reminder to release the hair is a little too long for me, and seems more suited to those with thicker hair. The curling iron arrived nicely boxed and the price seems reasonable.

    It works….
Good value for the money and it does work but I find it harder to use than a regular curling iron. This would be great though for someone that’s inexperienced with curling irons, has carpal tunnel, ir wants to try to prevent damage while still getting curls. For me, I might stick with just my regular iron. (My daughter likes it though)!
