Worked for my son’s scalp flakiness and itching
Firstly, I found the honey smell a little heavy, but my son didn’t mind it at all. The shampoo is thick and can sometimes be hard to rinse out. We learned quickly that only the smallest amount of shampoo is needed to get the job done. He liked the feel of the comb/scrub that is included. It’s easy to hold and isn’t rock hard on the scalp. The shampoo itself helped with the itching almost immediately and after a few shampoos, he could see a difference in the flaking and dense spots on his scalp. We haven’t finished this bottle, but I believe we’ll be buying this shampoo to maintain these results. We’re in Texas and it’s hot in the summer and early fall, so we’ll see how it holds up under drier conditions than we’re experiencing now.

Works!
The instructions indicate results within 6 to 8 weeks, but after just a week of use, I noticed significant improvement in my scalp damage. The shampoo has a thick texture, smells amazing, lathers well, and a little goes a long way. It’s been a game-changer for me so far!

Works
The formula is thick and the bottle is hard so I had to take the cap off so I could get enough in my hand. The smell is ok. It does have a slight medical/chemical smell. Lathers great and doesnât bother my sensitive skin. I think it helps my psoriasis spots to stop itching but it does cause flacking from the sore spots healing. I will buy this again. Love the scalp brush!

Effective but Not a Must-Haveâ¦
I tried this scalp scrub hoping it would help with product buildup and improve my overall scalp health. While it did leave my scalp feeling refreshed and clean after use, I found the process a bit tedious. The gritty texture can be tricky to rinse out completely, and it sometimes left residue in my hair. That said, I noticed less itchiness and a subtle improvement in my scalp’s condition over a few weeks. The scent is pleasant, and it works well for occasional deep cleansing, but I wouldnât consider it a staple in my routine. Itâs worth trying if youâre dealing with specific scalp concerns, but for regular maintenance, a good shampoo might be enough.

Amazing
I was super skeptical but willing to dry anything to help my scalp. I had almost instant relief after the first use and love the smell.

Shampoo Does Not Work!
Among its many “virtues” this shampoo is touted to also work for seborrheic dermatitis, which it does NOT. Save your money! I tried it on the days I am not using my prescription shampoo, and it is worthless. I saw a dermatologist and had a biopsy and it came back “seborrheic dermatitis” which I had already figured out on my own. I quit coloring my hair, wear it very short now and its natural grey color. I wash it daily with the prescription shampoo every other day but I don’t use this stupid “honey shampoo”. I would probably get better results using straight natural honey! If you have seborrheic dermatitis and you suffer with it for awhile, go to a dermatologist, get a biopsy, and fight it as prescribed. This expensive shampoo may clean your garbage disposal but it won’t do your wallet or your hair any good at all!

Save yourself the trouble, purchase Nizoral or Head & Shoulders
I have sebhorreic dermatitis, and purchased this product to help alleviate my symptoms. First of all, this shampoo is really weird and didnât help any as it described. Sure, it smells like honey, which is fine I guess – but it just seems like a generic placebo. The origins are dubious; Iâve never heard of the âRida Hair Research Instituteâ and canât find anything online that points to any kind of clinical process to prove why this should work. Save yourself the trouble and purchase effective and proven solutions like Nizoral.
